Located at 75 Hermanos Amunátegui Street, we are just a short walk from iconic attractions such as the La Moneda Palace, Plaza de Armas, the Central Market, Cerro Santa Lucía, and the City Museums. Whether you're here to explore the city's cultural gems or enjoy its lively nightlife, our central location provides easy access to all the must-see spots in Santiago. The metro station is only 200 meters away, making it easy to get around the city.

Our spacious, clean, and modern rooms are designed for both comfort and functionality. We offer shared dorms with up to 10 beds, each equipped with individual curtains for privacy, personal lockers to keep your belongings safe. For added convenience, each bed also has a reading light and an electrical outlet. If you prefer even more privacy, we also offer private rooms.

The hostel is equipped with all the amenities you need, including free Wi-Fi, a shared kitchen fully equipped for meal preparation, and a cozy lounge area where you can relax, meet other travelers, or plan your next adventure. Hostel La Moneda Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation Policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the first night of your stay will be charged.

Minimum Age: We only accept guests aged 18 or older.

Check-in from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM (if you need to check in after midnight, please let us know).
Check-out by 11:00 AM.

Payment upon arrival by cash or credit/debit card.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included.

The staff were all lovely, but the hostel wasn't amazing. There were 2 bathrooms/showers for everyone, so we had to wait a little while in the morning to have our showers (quite stressful if you have to catch a flight). There are many flights of stairs to reach the hostel and no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage, consider booking somewhere else. Construction (noise and strange people walking in and out), no security (women's room fully accessible at all times – No key, no lock to the room, right at the entrance). Only one bathroom downstairs next to the reception, very awkward, dirty, no hot water. Wifi doesn't reach the room, there's no common room, it's all very improvised, run-down, cheap, and dirty. I kindly let them know as soon as possible, everything was kind of denied, and no solution was offered. Staff nice, but not helpful.
