Great hostel in Christchurch! Good location walkable everywhere but not too close to the bustle. Best kitchen supplies I’ve had in 5 months of backpacking - so many spices, fresh eggs from the chickens, potatoes from the workers, anything you could need. One of the employees even made dinner for everybody one night I was here! Everybody here was really kind and welcoming, felt like a little family. Tv room, computer room, great spot here! Recommend!!

Overall the hostel is a great place if you want to have a nice time in Christchurch. It’s easy to get in contact with a lot of people. We always had dinner together at the weekend and went partying as a group. The kitchen and bathroom gets cleaned everyday, so it’s also very clean. The hostel also has a nice TV Room and a Computer room to relax. I would highly recommend coming here, if you want to have a nice social time.

The property manager, Shay, was very helpful and understanding of our situation. The people we interacted with were friendly and the atmosphere in shared spaces was a safe and fun environment. Cons: permanently damp and dirty tea towels Mildew on room and bathroom curtains Really uncomfortable bed VERY SPRINGY No storage in rooms If you’re not a high-maintenance traveler this will be a great destination, cons aren’t necessarily a management issue just risks of shared spaces and hostels.
