Fiendly staff, ok room and breakfast. Beds were bad, upper mattress was lacking and springs were hurting back. Air quality of the room wasn't good. It was hot and humidity was high, altough the weather wasn't yet very hot. Shower didn't work well. Wifi didn' work in the room. Public transportation in London is quite expensive. So this comes as a big extra cost if travelling to city from here. Otherwise we got value for money.

SKETCHY!! We booked the Britannia Inn but stayed in the Park Hotel down the road. Was charged a 'security deposit' of £100 in the Britannia Inn. I then checked my bank account on check out and saw they charged me TWICE for staying in the Britannia and apparently I will get these back. Unfortunately this is a civil case and the MET police were unable to help. I will try contacting my bank and the site today to cancel these transactions. On top of all that the place is a dump

I’m now about to check out and I now see on other platforms that many people have had trouble refunding their security deposit. £100 security deposit is very steep, many people choose this hotel because it is out of town and therefore to save money they choose a £50 a night deal and will not have the funds for an extra 100 pounds. How can I insure I get my deposit back if I’m out of the country and cannot chase you up? Why not just take a passport? Why do you move people to a different hotel?
