Set on the highest & most beautiful hill in Pisac, overlooking ancient Incan Ruins, Wolf Totem Guesthouse has been designed as a holiday from the holiday for the long-term traveler. Alongside the breathtaking views, gardens and common areas, Wolf Totem features a Boho Chic Cafe with Fiber Optic wifi to do all your Digital Nomad work (New dedicated Co-Working space).

The property is located on the top of a hill only accessible by foot. There are 150 mountain steps to climb required to get to reception. Good physical shape and a backpack are highly recommended. Ivan has basically created the traveller hideout. You can feel how much care and work he puts into the place the second you arrive. Every day he and his chef cook up new, delicious dishes that you can enjoy sharing with everyone by the fireplace. My mornings started with yoga on the deck that overlooks the whole valley…breathtaking. Then there’s the eucalyptus sauna (yes, he picks it fresh), a game of pool, and later a movie under a blanket. Slept like a baby. 10/10, chef’s kiss.

I had an absolutely amazing time at this hostel! The place is beautiful and super chill, with a sauna, pool, and pool table the perfect spot to relax and enjoy. I honestly wish I could have stayed longer! The food was delicious amazing wood fired pizzas and a fantastic tikka masala. As an animal lover, I was so happy to meet Paco, the adorable hostel dog . A huge thank you to Ivan as well an incredible host, super friendly and always ready to share great tips to help us explore the area.

The hostel itself is physically well-equipped and has everything a traveler could need. However, the hospitality left much to be desired. I simply asked the owner for a few suggestions on activities in the valley, and he answered the question right away. He then, however, shared his opinion that my question was a "waste of his precious time" and that it reflected a lack of preparation on my part. I quickly realized that any form of discussion was unilateral, so any disagreement is impossible
