Eco Hostel Chichicastenango Casa Tzocomá

Casa Tzocomá began as a project born from the need to preserve a portion of the forest within the town of Chichicastenango—a place that serves as a home for various animals and a habitat for local, exotic plants. To support this conservation effort, we offer hostel accommodations, camping, and space for recreational vehicles (RVs). The name 'Tzocomá' means 'damp place' or 'swampy area'; this is how the local area in Chichicastenango is known, as many natural water formations were once found here long ago.

At Casa Tzocomá, we prioritize rest and tranquility, making our facilities and the surrounding ecological site an ideal setting for relaxation. Furthermore, your stay directly contributes to the ongoing maintenance and preservation of this ecological area.
