The place is lovely. Although the hostel was rated to be number 1 Party Hostel, the party ended around 11 pm, which is good, as this allows the guests upstairs to have a peaceful night as not everyone will join the party downstairs. The staffs are also very friendly and approachable.

We loved our stay at 91 Loop! The location is great, and it's right in downtown Cape Town, super convenient, and walkable to some of the big tourist areas. They also have a really cool bar/ restaurant area (The Honey Badger), which has super good and affordable food. The hostel also has nightly activities and optional add-ons for your trip, which mean that you'll never get bored. We loved it, and would stay again!

I was very surprised at how welcoming & caring the staff was at 91 loop. There was never a time I didn’t feel safe, it only felt like home for the 6 days I was in Capetown. The breakfasts are great & it is so convenient to have staff there to help book your Capetown activities. I highly recommend.

I LOVED this place! The only problem was is that the showers were not so clean all the time, but still useable. I was in a mixed dorm style room with very clean beds and nice roommates. The staff was always so nice and was able to help us book whatever we needed. The Honey Badger Bar downstairs of the hostel had wonderful food and a really good atmosphere, with lots of board games, billiards and different events happening each night! For sure try the butternut and beetroot delicious!

Really nice place to stay, beds are super comfy! I went there alone as a woman and felt very safe. Big advance: lockers under the bed that can be locked with the key card of the room! A lot of activities offered by the hostel which makes it even easier to get to know people. Also it was very clean. I’ll be back 👍🏻

Really helpful staff and a great base to explore Cape Town from. Not a huge party hostel but really easy to meet people and I felt really secure the whole time. The dorm rooms were really spacious and comfortable.

Great location. I stayed in the 20 bed pod room and it was perfect, although can be a little loud as the windows look onto the smoking area. Comfortable & clean, decent breakfast and great range of activities. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the activities. My only concern was about security -keycard wasn't required to get in the door at any stage and wasn't checked even to go upstairs. I know that the main door is also the entrance for Honey Badger, so just a small point.
