The location of this hostel is absolutely amazing! Only 10 minutes from Covent Garden which was perfect for my visit to London. The staff were lovely and helpful, and there was a great atmosphere. Free dinner was provided, as was breakfast with a donation to charity, which was ideal and so generous. I will definitely be using Astor hostels again when I am next in London.

Great bathrooms (clean and secure). 24-hour desk service was great, I was able to checkout at 4:45am for my flight without a problem. Great proximity to British museum and a short walk from the West End shows I went to. No complaints.

One of the best hostels app n my Europe trip, great location walking distance from most things or close by a number of metro lines. Facilities were clean and provided safe place for belongings. But the excellent staff make this place, they make you feel welcome and are more than happy to help! Best experience!

Very cool, very friendly and helpful staff, really easy going vibes. Absolutely no complaints for a place to rest your head after a day exploring london. Great location and amazing price. Always brilliant to have a light, plug socket AND usb port for each bed! Privacy curtain would make it extra great but that's just my personal opinion. Good stay overall. Thank you!

Location was great, within walking distance of everything! It was a very social hostel which was fun, but walls are pretty thin so it can get noisy at times. The communal bathroom I used was recently renovated so it was very nice and waiting to get ready in the morning was never an issue.

The location is nice, they have two buildings not far from each other, the room in which I staid was pretty small and the bathrooms smelt a bit bad, I was unfortunatley near. Otherwise the staff was so nice and they help us a lot, I totally recommend the hostel!

    Very Good

    24 Nov 2019
Overall we enjoyed our stay - the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is just great. It is close to many metro stations and the British Museum! While the hostel included breakfast and dinner, we did find it quite expensive for what we got (private room with shared bathroom). We were also in a separate building and there were no facilities in our building. While it was only a few minutes walk away, it still did make it a little bit more of a hassle.

You can’t beat this location for a hostel, but my experience here was mostly neutral because of the cohabitants of the room I was in. The beds are quite sensitive and if you’re in a top bunk, you’ll likely be woken by every movement of the person below as I was. The facilities were good, but could have been better. The WiFi came in and out frequently in the second building which was frustrating at times. If you just need a place to crash, this is a good option!
