We took the saying 'go big or go home' seriously when creating Atlantis Hostel – it's the largest in Kraków. A lot of thought's gone into making the space just what you want, from our roomy kitchen to the cosy lounge. To help your cash go as far as possible, we've got free coffee and tea, free-to-use computers and free Wi-Fi everywhere, including in our café and bar areas. Swing by our 24-hour reception to catch up with friendly staff who'll help you with all things Kraków – from handing out free city maps to giving directions to the city's impressive main square or helping you book pub crawls and tours.

If you're heading to Atlantis from Kraków John Paul II International Airport, jump on bus 292 to the final Dworzec Główny Wschód stop, then get on a tram at Dworzec Główny Tunel, the city's main train station. It's a 30-minute walk to the hostel from here, or you can take another tram. We're right on the edge of Kazimierz, the historical Jewish Quarter, which is now a buzzing student hub full of cheap bars and restaurants.

Rooms and Dorms

If you're roaming the world on a budget, book into one of our clean mixed dorms. You get free bedding and towels as well as a locker big enough for your backpack. We also have private rooms with en-suites – some of which have views of Kraków's famous Wawel Castle and cloister gardens. If you're travelling in a big group, you can choose one of our multi-person dorms to fit the whole crew.

Staff were super friendly and helpful, location is great, not too far from the main square but far enough for some peace and quiet! Rooms were clean and tidy as well as bathrooms.

The hostel was very clean and the staff were lovely. There were lots of plug sockets and the beds were comfy. The rooms, although for 8 people are very spacious and the bathroom we had was connected to the room which was an added bonus. The location is not the most central but there is an easy walk to the train station and bus services to the airport. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Nice place to stay although still used keys which made me feel less safe. I was in an 8 bed dorm and you just had to make sure that someone locked the door before bed. There was also no elevator at this hostel which was ok for me as I was on the first floor but I had friends on the third floor who were less impressed.

First impressions don’t do much but once you’re in your room it isn’t to bad. Showers were decent and clean and rooms were tidy.

Place feels very run down and uncompleted. I had the unfortunate luck of sharing a room with 3x Uber Eats drivers who seemed to be living out of the hostel They never seemed to leave the room and would stay up doing who knows what (the lights were still on at 4am). The walk to town is a bit of a trek.
