Eco-friendly by name and nature, this hostel is as chilled out and low-pressure as it gets, with environmental awareness being the sole exception. This place is a leafy green oasis in the midst of Manila's grey, concrete roar. The operators are extremely friendly and helpful and the front desk is manned around the clock. If you MUST stay in Manila city (not recommended for beach-hunters and nature-lovers), stay here.

BEST HOSTEL IN MANILA !! Loved this place, staff and owner very friendly and helpful with any enquiries about the city or future travel tips in or out of the philipines! The hostel itself is very clean, comfortable and spacious ! I came back to the hostel 4 times and didn’t have one bad experience ! Favourite part is the chill out area due to the comfy beds/chairs and great to speak to fellow travellers. I recommend this place strongly

Great stay here. The best sleep we’ve had in a while! Class mattress with ac and fan in room! Perfect sized lockers outside the rooms to keep your belongings safe and keep the room from getting clustered. Staff and the owner Lee were amazing! Answered all our questions and helped us plan out what to do with our remaining 4 weeks in the phillipenes! Cool spacious hang out area on the first floor if you stay in for the day. Free map of local things to check out, and list of local foods to try!

Very good value for the money! The hostel is a cosy green hidehout in the middle of an otherwise hectic city. Lot of space to hangout in the common area. Good spacious lockers to store your stuff. The staff is not short of amazing - super friendly and helpful! The owner really helped me out on the rest of my trip, as I was super lost and a bit stressed about what to do after my planned route seemed like a bad idee due wheater conditions. Will definitely come back!

Gorgeous hostel in a great location. Facilities are minimal, and there are some creepy crawlies (none in the rooms), so beware. But staff is wonderful and enjoyed my stay.

I stayed for only one night in the dorm. It was pretty hot but with the fans running all through the night I woke up in the middle of the night because I was cold. The day I left I was going in the evening and was glad to be able to leave my luggage at a locker in the hostel (for a small fee) till I did some sightseeing. Also, to avoid extra costs you can bring your own lock.

When we arrived we were greeted by a gentlemen who couldn’t put his phone down and barely showed us the way to our room. We were woken up in the middle of the night by a random guy standing over us, with his hand on our neck pouch trying to steal it. Another guest at the hostel had his phone stolen and the gentlemen working (same as the one listed above) seemed like he could not care less. The security is non existent in this hostel (Even though they have working cameras!) which is a big con.

Really disappointing stay considering the rating. Only a sliding glass door to the bedroom with the common room right outside and no lock on the door or curtains over bedroom windows. Mattress was 2 separate cushions pushed together. Only 3 cold showers and 2 toilets for the whole hostel. I felt they were quite dirty- maybe because so many people were using them. No kitchen facilities despite advertised. Staff didn’t seem interested in giving sightseeing ideas/ directions.
