Easily the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Teresa and Seamus were so welcoming and friendly. The village was beautiful and there are a lot of interesting ancient spots to visit. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip through Ireland.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Despite being outside town in the middle of nowhere it's a refreshing stay in a quiet and comfy hostel. The facilities are great, everything clean and the lounge has huge sofas and a TV. Stayed in a 14-bed dorm but we were only 3 so it was perfect. Probably the most comfy hostel bed I ever slept in!

Staff was excellent, extremely helpful. Was only there one night, passing through the area, but they gave great recommendations. Common areas very nice. Was a quiet night when I stayed, so was solo in a 4 room, so wasn’t concerned with this, but there wasn’t area in the room where I could lock up my things. There was shelving (cupboard space) though.

Ballyhoura Luxury Hostel was perfect! First think to say is how welcoming the hosts Seamus and Teresa were. We were very sad because we ended up arriving really late and had to leave very early the next morning, but enjoyed every minute of the place. The beds were a dream and the showers clean and spacious. This hostel must be a great place to enjoy a true Irish town away from the big city surrounded by beautiful mountains! Great for outdoors fans out there!
