The Hostel was very clean, and welcoming. The location is a paradise so it can’t be beat. The facilities were excellent and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

This is the place I loved more in the Yasawas. Was like a breeze after horrible barefoot Kuata resort. The stuff were super friendly, good vibes, the beach awesome, comfy beds. The structure of the place makes it easier for solo travelers to meet other people. The lunch is delicious and they the schedules for food are more flexible than other resorts. Only complaint, the girl in charge of dive shop, could be more friendly. She doesn’t treat customers with the same standards.

I did not want to leave this place! Simply beautiful! 2 nights was not enough. Great people, the best beach ever, free paddle boards/snorkelling equipment and some great activities! Only negative was the bar staff always wanting us to disappear to our rooms fairly early when we were socialising on an evening. Very good food, lovely staff, definitely recommend!

Food was amazing. Rooms were clean. However Staff treated us differently as we were staying in dorms we watched couples and families arrive after us staff went over to them and took their drink orders but not ours. All free activities were cancelled no yoga, crab racing or basket weaving. coconut demonstration started 30 minutes late and lasted 10 min which was a shame. Most of the activities require a fee, for the village trek you are encouraged to buy something. Staff could be more welcoming

Blue Lagoon was a picture perfect place to stay in Fiji! On the very northern part of the Yasawa Islands and a very remote location. The staff does tend to treat dorm guests differently than other guests. It wasn't super noticeable until check out or meal times. They do 'party night' and 'movie nights' but they usually include 5 people. The meal plan is expensive but the food is amazing!

Pros: amazing beach, nice food, other solo travellers to make friends, nice clean bathrooms, big dorm with no bunk beds and feels spacious, fun activities after dinner Cons: staff treat dorm guests different to the villa guests, I certainly wasn’t served as quick or smiled to as much. The refillable water isn’t cold. The drink prices are double that of main land. They messed up my bill, do check this when leaving. Bar shuts at 9:30 and everyone gets up early, don’t expect to sleep in past 6am.

Dorm rooms are great- comfortable beds, clean, little locker by the bed, good air con. Bathrooms clean. Food amazing. Lots of activities. Dive shop had paddle boards and kayaks to use. Beautiful beach, clean swimming pool too. Drinks expensive compared to other places (happy hour barely happy). More of a resort feel here too rather than traditional Fiji. Honeymoon atmosphere. Staff very friendly when you arrive but soon become generally more surly compared to at other places.

Beautiful place, but if youre a backpacker Prepare for a very "resorty" vibe. Many families and not the intimate vibe that is on some of the other Islands. Staff is friendly but not acting like family as the fijians on some of the other Islands do. Might be because it is more a resort than a backpackers place. Lots of fun activities included, like movie night, party night and water sports. Nice hiking!

    Very Good

Any surprises when you have to paid the bill at the end. This hostel have 25% taxes added. You paid all your bill at the end so you don't know finally the real price. At the end, you are on this island stuck and the staff says to you that you had to paid 20 dollars more to join the big boat. If you don't paid you stay here. Finally, I'm disappointed because this hostel have a lots of hiding costs. They attract tourist with interesting price and finally your bill is more important.

Very good snorkeling- great beach, good hike up to a spectacular view point. Compulsory 119.00fjd food plan, just a little high for what you get. And the hidden 25 percent tax on top of every purchase a little expensive. Moderate drinking, cave trip, 4 nights 2 people in dorm costs a little over $1,000 Usd. So be aware backpackers on a budget... staff was friendly but it’s a bigger resort so not amazingly friendly like we found other places... dorm set back from beach. But great air conditioni
