Located in Kuata Island Barefoot Kuata Island Resort is a relaxed, eco-friendly escape located at the gateway to Fiji’s Yasawa Islands. 1st stop of four islands on my yasawa's trip. Journey there was great and a very warm welcome is laid on at the resort. Was in a shared Dorm. Beds were fine if a little creaky and the room temperature was always fine for sleeping. Resort has great snorkeling just out the front and several scuba trips if you want to pay extra. Sadly every day I was there was too windy to take a kayak out but you can't change the weather. Marine talks were very interesting. Food was fine.
