The Coco Farm in Bohol has the best one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in while I visited the Philippines! It has a really nice common area with hammocks, cafe, books, games, charging station and wifi. It’s located down a path, which is away from all the other shops, hostels, people and noise. They have a delicious breakfast included, run tours and the staff go above and beyond to help you out in any way they can - I would have to say this is the perfect place to meet people too.

THE place to stay in Panglao / Bohol. I was previously in a different hostel which was a totally different / independent vibe. I found it way easier to make friends and meet people at Bohol coco farm especially at the bbq which was so much fun! Amazing facilities, very good food at the restaurant and hot showers which are ALL rare in any hostel in the Philippines :) I loved my stay so much and was sad to leave, I’ll be back! 100/100

Honestly.. my favorite thing about Bohol and Panglao. Amazing staff.. (shoutout to Flor!) Tranquil atmosphere in a beautiful setting. A little off the beaten track but it’s super easy to get a trike or rent a motorbike!

Very peaceful and solemn, probably because it's located off the road. Staff are approachable and professional. The food choices are limited during my visit, but rest assured it's always freshly prepared using ingredients from their organic farm.

Loved the feel of this hostel as it’s very exposed to the jungle/forest it’s in. I found it really easy as a solo traveler to meet people and the staff were so so helpful. Be sure to rent a motor scooter though because everything in Bohol/Panglao requires some distance between place to place

    Very Good

Staff were amazing the only issue was ants. But great to meet people and food was mostly grown on farm. Mostly vegan and vegetarian options but delicious. Everything you pay for is put on a tab and you pay upon checkout so beware it can get pricey if you are not adding up as you go. Overall great hostel and cool location with animals and forest everywhere.

    Very Good

Beautiful hostel with a very chill vibe. The staff friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast is fantastic. There is not much to do in the area if you don’t rent a motorbike. There also aren’t many food options close by, and the kitchen at the hostel was always closed for some reason. Nothing to really do here at night and surprisingly I didn’t find that it was a very social hostel. Not ideal for solo travellers.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay here. One positive was the food - really good and from their farm produce although took a long to come. Only stay here if you are VERY outdoorsy and love nature. The rooms were very basic, with lots of bugs, the showers and toilets were outside leading us to feel dirty the whole stay. We found the staff quite unhelpful and sometimes rude. It’s quite far from anything - white beach is 25 min walk and Alona you need a bike/tricycle to get to which cost 150p.
