Perfect ten. Despite being a bit more expensive than other options, its worth every cent. They even have a little work space for people like me doing sporadic work. The staff is friendly and they have ongoing activities every day. Only one thing I didnt like is that after 11pm there is no place you can stay apart from your own bed, as they close all communal spaces..

The only place I’ll ever stay at in CDMX. A little pricier than the others but the most comfortable beds in any hostel! So many opportunities to meet people too

One of the BEST hostels I’ve ever stayed in for the atmosphere - there’s so much going on so if you want to have company and do things with people you can do, but there’s no pressure if you prefer a more private time! Just a heads up, quite a few people’s doors kept being locked as the electric keys wouldn’t work (I was locked out of my room for 40 minutes one night) but the staff are lovely and you just have to ask at reception. Despite this it’s still the best hostel to experience the city!

Great place to stay whilst in Mexico City. Great location for the historical centre, the organised activities were all great and I’d definitely recommend joining in on some of them. I found it very easy to meet people from all over the world and socialising on the rooftop bar was great in the evening!

Great location two blocks from Zocalo. The facilities were great you get a free drink with your stay the terrazze is really nice but there is some bars around that area where drinks are cheaper. There is a guard at the front at all hours. Overall I would definitely stay there again.

    Fabulous

Pros: - Good Location - Activities organizes through the hostel (Mexican wrestling, tours, pyramids) - Nice roof top patio - Privacy in dorms with the bed curtain Cons: - No air conditioning. Normally not an issue but at night it can get hot with window closed to block out car noise - Washroom doors don’t close all the way and the washroom locks are difficult to use Maybe the best hostel in Mexico but seems rather average compared to the better ones in Asia.

Nice hostel, a bit more expensive than others but it's nicer than most others as well. Good bed with a curtain for privacy. Good rooftop with a bar. Only downside for me is that the Lucha tour was a bit pricey for what you got, but it was still fun.

    Very Good

Overall, Casa Pepe was a pretty cool hostel. However, it bordered on "hotel" vibes in that lots of people spent time on their laptops on the rooftop bar. Also, families came through, so it had a less backpacker-type feel. The lock on our bathroom door was broken, and halfway through my stay, all the key cards through the *entire* hostel didn't work, meaning someone had to let us into the room each time for every guest in the hostel. Drinks were nice but pricey for CDMX. Cool but won't stay again

    Good

Had 6 nights and most of the time the key cards to get into the rooms were not working, so you had to have staff open your room. They were re-tiling ALL of the bathrooms on both floors of dorm rooms at the same time, so the only toilet/shower available were the ones in the rooms (1 toilet/shower : 6 ppl). Most of the staff were friendly, except the older guy who creepily told me 3 different times that the dorms with the girls were his favorite, and that he thought all the girls were so pretty.
