It truely is a great hostel. It is nice and comfortable, the ladies dorm had 2 bathrooms and was one of the best dorms I ever stayed in. The rooftop and the free walking tour are excellent options to meet people. In my room, I didn't have any problems with noises. Overall, I would always come back here.

Casa Pepe is located at a very good location in Mexico city downtown. It's a really fun hostel with good sleeping area and secure storage facilities per person. They also have walking tours in morning and afternoon that cover good spots in the city. It's a great way to meet new people. In addition to this, they have a lot of activities everyday (over the week) including Karaoke, DJ night, happy hour, etc. 10/10 would recommend.

Great social hostel. Met some friends quickly and ended up traveling for a week together. Stayed in an 8 person mixed dorm based on review feedback; shower and sink was split up from the toilet. But there are additional toilets showers on the reception level. Electrical outlet and light inside your pod with a curtain.

Definitely worth the price. Staff was great, rooms were clean, atmosphere was awesome. Plenty to do and the happy hour and night scene make you not even want to leave the place. Definitely will be staying again

Casa Pepe was the perfect place to stay in the Historical District. They were very accommodating, and we loved taking advantage of the free breakfasts, Yoga classes (leave a tip!) and city tours (leave a tip!) The 6-person mixed dorm we stayed in was great, and we loved reading and spending time in the common areas. What a well put-together space!

Hostel was clean and had great amenities. The capsule beds with curtains gave great privacy as well as a personal light and possessions locker by your bed. The daily activities and free walking tours were great and made it really easy to meet people as did the power hour and activities in the bar. The rooftop bar is really noisy at night and with no AC you need the windows open. There are no quiet rooms but if you can sleep with noise its a great place to stay. Central location with a lot nearby

Without a doubt one of the best hostels I've stayed in. I made so many friends thanks to the rooftop bar that I didn't even play the N64 (which was a large selling point for me). The place was clean, the food up top was excellent and the events and walking tours were very well organized. The mattress wasn't the comfiest and it is quite loud at night but the quality of everything else overshadowed it. Book your stay - but bring earplugs :)

    Fabulous

Good: The hostel is nice, decor is good, it’s super clean! Breakfast was really good. Super social if you want it. The free walking tours are great. Not so good: We didn’t have a toilet seat the whole time. Staff are a little rude at times. Seats get reserved at the rooftop bar by people outside the hostel, sucks when you can’t get a seat Staff are really pushy with tips! One waiter even changed the tip amount on the machine from 5% to 10%! It’s a hostel, you shouldn’t have to tip for 2 beers

    Fabulous

The food was good up on the rooftop, especially the guacamole. The shower in our room had a foul smell the whole time we were there and the computers didn’t work in the reception. Would’ve been great if had a pool. Overall felt very safe and secure as there was always security at the front.
