This is my third time booking with Chelsea International Hostel and once again it was a great experience. Due to Covid, they actually moved our booking at no additional cost to Radio City Apartments Hotel closer to Times Square to ensure ensuite bathroom availability for safety, and it felt like an upgrade and ended up being even more convenien. I felt like this was a really solid effort on Chelsea's part to serve their customers well during these strange times. Definitely clean and great value.

I guess this rating is actually for the Radio City Apartments which apparently is also owned by this company. I booked with Chelsea Hostel and received an email stating that my room would be at Radio City instead due to Coronavirus. This did not bother me at all. In fact, the location of Radio City Apartments is absolutely amazing. 1/2 block from Times Square. The unit was great, It was an old apartment with a kitchen, and bathroom. Extremely clean. I was alone in the room.

Due to COVID, bookings for the Chelsea International Hostel are being moved to Radio City Apartments Hotel, so this review is for them. The hotel is right in the heart of Times Square and is next to the subway, making it easy to get around. The staff are super friendly and the building is well maintained. I booked a four-person room. However, due to social distancing, I had the place to myself for my whole stay. The only negative was the lack of atmosphere compared to a typical hostel.

Its a hotel. Zero atmosphere. You won't meet a single person. But its very clean and nice. The bed is like sleeping on a piece if cement though. In times Square though if that is what you are looking for. I personally wouldn't stay here again unless I went with a group.

Radio City Apartments is the worst hotel/hostel I've never stayed. The front desk people, Percy and Jaime, two Latino man in different shifts yell at you if you aren't a white person. In front of me there was an old Asian lady and he was awful with her just bc she didn't speak English clearly. It was my turn, I was respectful and even smile in my greeting, the person was rude and raised his voice to me, he said he couldn't find my reservation, well I stayed there two nights, so my rsv existed.
