To be honest. I didn't stay at Chillout Hostel because it was under renovation. Instead, they put me in a hotel around the corner for the exact same price as the hostel. Their service regarding this, and the staff's at the hotel was incredible. Really recommended!

Incredible place to be at. Spend two nights with a friend from school, we are both very happy with the treatment we received from staff it was amazing. The bar at the hostel was very very nice, had a great atmosphere and was pleasant to be at. Location was centric and near by most pubs. There was a guy Jorge from Chile, he was very kind to let us know how to get to the ski park by bus and helped us on what to do by night time. Overall great place to be at in Zagreb

    Fabulous

Value-wise, totally worth it. It was right at the base of the funicular, perfectly clean, and very comfortable. And maybe i would have loved it more if I were 18. But the music was incredibly loud and the place was full of smoke. They also had signs up that hair dryers were available for rent and when I asked the guy at the front desk about it he said “I can look for one, but I’m not sure - I don’t work here.” Overall, it was worth it and I’d stay again, but not my favorite.

The place is of good chill atmosphere. The dorm had a feeling of a child's room. The color and type of beds made me feel in a kids area. All facilities worked good and the staff is pretty friendly and welcoming. It was good to have a place to relax and have a coffee. The location is superb.

I slept two nights in this hostel in a shared room with 6 beds. The room is ridiculous small, it's weird because you sleep with more 2 person in a row. The kitchen is small and dirty, without the basic stuffs to do your breakfast. I booked this hostel after 1 january 2020, and in "rules house" the tourist tax was 10 kunas per night. During the check out was 12 kunas, without explanation or excuses. The staff is not friendly. Honestly, isn't a good hostel for solo female travelers.
