    Superb

Centrally located and friendly staff. I stayed in the 4 bedroom female dorm. There there 6 beds but only 4 were filled. The bathroom facilities were nice and clean. Breakfast is cornflakes, bread, feta and olives.

    Fabulous

This was a wonderful hostel to have as base for Athens. Really close to the main tourist-y market and some amazing temple ruins/the Acropolis. The space itself was nice too, the rooms stayed suprisingly cool even in the middle of the day, and there was a lovely courtyard (with cats!) to hang out in. Breakfast was a little sparse but worked well if I supplemented with a little fruit. Also, super friendly and helpful employees!

The staff members are simply amazing. They really care about your comfort and are extremely accommodating. They rushed to set up my bed when they learnt that I had arrived one day before and hadn’t slept the entire night. Especially wish to commend Nikita for being really nice and for making tea for me at 3am when I arrived.

    Fabulous

This hostel is in the perfect location. A stones throw from the Temple of Zues and a 5 minute walk from the Acropolis. The staff are very friendly, and they keep the place very clean, but sadly the rooms didn't have safes in them and if you want to use the Hostel big safes it costs 2 Euro which is a bit annoying. The showers are OK, but not brilliant. Free breakfast is a nice touch. It's an OK hostel, not great but not bad. It's in a very safe part of Athens too.

    Very Good

Pros: perfect location, cheap, quiet, fluffy towels for 1e. Cons: WiFi is non-existent, and the bathroom floors are so filthy you cannot enter barefoot. But the worst is Nikita, the deranged bald man on the night desk. At 6am I used the bathroom down the hall. The bolt got stuck and I was trapped inside! I knocked and called out for help. Nikita let me out, SCREAMING in my face "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" at the top of his lungs. I cannot recommend a hostel whose employees scream at guests.

    Good

Positives (and I mean huge positives) were location, Wi-Fi connection and air con. Negatives , there was no toilet paper in either toilet both days we were there. The 5 person room was extremely cramped and one of the beds was broken and the person on when we checked in was rude and extremely unhelpful when asking where to go to eat at the late hour.

Overall - not bad option for the value. I paid for a private room, which I got except that the bed was wildly uncomfortable AND my room was right near reception. With the walls paper thin, I could hear everything. So not great, BUT I was grateful for a safe, clean place to stay in Plaka. It was incredibly close and central to everything I wanted and needed to see. I would recommend, but bring ear plugs and shower shoes even if you get a private room!

The location was really great, 10 minute walk from the acropolis and nice streets with lots of restaurants. I don’t know Athens well but it seemed like the nicer area of it. Hard to say what the other rooms would be like but the one we got placed in looked nothing like the pictures advertised, kinda felt like we spent the night in a prison cell..

Way overpriced given the facilities. Crappy breakfast. Cosy, good atmosphere. A lower price would make it make it a fair deal.

It seems the owners never tried to spend a single night in their hostel and check if everything is alright. The showers are badly organized. The common space is not well designed for social gathering & the kitchen unusable killing entirely the "hostel" spirit. Breakfast was disappointing. This place should be better called a cheap hotel than a hostel, and I discourage anyone to book a room there. The only advantage is its location, although I must say that athenian underground works wonderfully.
