We have been using Dundee Backpackers for around 7 years now and it's always been a great experience. I think the attitude of the staff can have a big impact wherever you stay and I'm pleased to say that the staff at Dundee Backpackers are excellent and always make our booking process, arrival and stay as easy as possible. They are very accommodating for groups whereas some other hostels I have used see groups as a bit of an inconvenience. Thanks again guys, see you next year!

Very clean bathrooms & room, quite silent in the night as well. Just the wifi wasn’t not working all the time but worth the money paid.

Perfect location - close to main bus routes and the railway station and the waterfront, with lots of tea and coffee houses and cafes within walking distance, as well as the main museums - and characterful historical building. It's unbeatable value for a private room - a huge room with private bathroom and tea, coffee and kettle was provided, plus towels. The only drawback is it can be quite noisy at night (revellers shouting/singing outside at pub closing time) due to its city centre location.

First time staying in a hostel since the Covid Pandemonium. We had our own room with en-suite, which was not my usual way of staying in hostels. The hostel is right in the centre of Dundee, a few minutes walk from either the train or bus station. The place is kept very clean by the staff, just the usual problems you get in hostels with a minority who do not clean up after themselves in the kitchen. Staff keep on top of this though. Would stay again and recommend to fellow travellers
