Great location and relatively easy to find. The room was clean and comfy beds, the shower was great and had plenty of hot water. Tony gave us a welcome aboard brief upon arrival telling us all the best places to eat, visit, take awesome pictures, and transportation. Our last evening ended with everyone getting together over some vegan chocolate cake, canelazo and an open-minded conversation about community. Highly recommend and I would absolutely stay there again.

I love this hostel! Tony is so lovely and gave me so many recommendations for things to do in Cuenca and in Ecuador in general. I really loved the rooftop, you can sit with a view of the city and mountains and watch the sunset.

I only write a review if I find a hostel outstanding. Tony and Estafano invited me to dinner on both evenings - delicious and nice view from the rooftop. In addition, they explained me in detail what to do in Cuenca and even created a map at Maps.Me where all the attractions are marked. Estafano helped me to buy a Guinea pig. The hostel itself is very clean, although of the decor maybe a bit old-fashioned - it did not bother me. Recomend to stay here.

Very nice hostel close to the cathedral. It’s easy to meet new people and socialize with others. The rooftop family dinner (5 courses) is delicious and very cheap, would definitely recommend to do that! I would for sure stay here again.

Great location, great water pressure and super hot, amazing balcony with best hostel views in Cuenca and reasonably priced. Cons: uncomfortable beds, the showers and sinks didn’t drain fast so your time was limited before it overflowed, and there is no kitchen for guests although food is so delicious and cheap in Cuenca that it doesn’t matter unless you’re pinching pennies. Also you don’t have a key to the front door but that’s common for security reasons at most hostels in Ecuador. Worth it

Lovely balcony and wonderful location. Tony, the host, is very helpful. The WiFi doesn’t work in the rooms.

Could be a nice hostel if there are people around, was completely empty when I was there. Owner and volunteer are super nice and rooftop bar is cool! Rooms are ok, but no lockers. No kitchen and no breakfast included make it a bit inconvenient.

Tony makes a great and knowledgeable host. The roof top is great and the dinner good and interesting. Great way to get to know other guests. The room facilities however don't match the price. I had a private with ensuite. The shower drain was so full of hair it took 30 mins to drain after finishing shower. The bin still had used toilet paper in it from previous guests. Sheet on bed was threadbare and the room light so dim you couldn't read a book/map. No wifi in dorms. Pity-could be great place

Nice hostel with an incredible terrace overlooking a square. Was a bit quiet when we stayed there so we didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy the communal dinners in the evening, but we were invited to eat with the staff. Rooms are a little drab but perfectly comfortable. Towels are not included (even for privates) and breakfast is not included, making the hostel overpriced. Needs a bit more investment to be a top hostel - like a entrance buzzer that doesn’t wake up the entire Hostel!

There were no lockers and no locks on the room doors. My friend slept poorly our first night because the bed was rock hard. The host (Tony) was rude to us more than once. He explained the city to us at first which was nice, but then he refused to re-explain a few things when I asked. He just didn't seem interested in helping us. My friend and I both felt he was rude to us. I am a very positive person and I've never written a bad review about a hostel, but I felt this one deserved it.
