Our hostel is centrally and conveniently located directly on the tram line, with the famous Queen Victoria Market just across the road. Most of Melbourne’s great attractions, sporting venues and restaurants are also within walking distance, making our hostel the ideal choice for any length of stay.

We offer 24 hour reception services and provide 30min free WiFi for each and every device. Elizabeth Hostel also provides free DVD hire and computer access.

The hostel proudly features full facilities on each floor, including showers and toilets. Kitchen and laundry facilities are located on the second floor. We also have a mini theatre with DVD and cable television features, free lockers, and our friendly staff are available to help you with all your tour bookings and local information.

UNSAFE! UNSAFE! UNSAFE! Not for backpackers! Horrid man on reception with the world's biggest chip on his shoulder. Attempted to keep me outside on the street when I was fully entitled to enter the hostel with the booking I'd made. I gave my name and dates over the phone as the door was locked.
