As well as discovering the many attractions & beautiful gardens that Melbourne has to offer, Europa is situated only metres away from a 'tram free zone' making Europa the perfect base for exploring Melbourne.

For the budget-savvy traveller, Europa Melbourne is where luxury meets affordability. We are the first hostel in Melbourne to offer curtained bunks giving our traveller complete privacy when needed. Our Unique bunk beds each have a power socket, double usb socket & private reading light, not to mention ample space for luggage storage under our designer beds. Our lockers come with hooks & hangers adding to our traveller's necessities for a comfortable stay and our new unique communal bathrooms acting as a private ensuite are sure to impress.

Our accommodation options include 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 shared dorm rooms, as well as double-private & twin-private rooms with shared bathrooms. Along with our newly furbished communal lounge & dining area, Wi-Fi is also free on our relaxing rooftop lounge.

Our services are unbeatable, we have a 24 hour reception so you can be assured our friendly reception staff are always there for you.

Europa Melbournes Terms & Conditions:
- All guests must provide a passport on arrival
- Europa caters to international guests only
- Dormitory/shared room age range: 18 - 35 years only. Anyone outside this range will need to book a private room.
- The property only accepts bookings of a maximum of 4 guests

Our property has a 1-day cancellation policy. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.

I’ve never posted anything bad on any of my reviews as experiences are always subjective. However, Europa was the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I had to leave early. The rooms were dirty, smelly, mouldy and the curtains in both room I stayed in (I asked for a change as the first room had no windows nor ventilation) were stained and dirty. People party and drink at all times. The building is unsafe. The people are unsafe. The breakfast doesn’t exist. The building smells of cigarette. Avoid.

The hostel is well placed, but the kitchen is disgusting and was never properly cleaned, there is food on the floor and the fridge is gross (bad smell and very dirty). Room was okay, even though none of the people staying respect the rules, people vaping and drinking in the kitchen, we even saw the police enter the property, would not recommend.
