We had the beest time in Carpe Diem! There's a history behind the eco lodge and the belgian owner are super friendly and help the local community. there are three pools, everyone on a different level. The lodge is located at a hill, so you have on top a perfect and atmoshperic viewpoint with a pool and hammoks. The surroundings a very nice to discover in a one or two day trip and you even have an lodge-own sunset hike to another hilltop. Food and the daily 'family dinner' is spectacular

Lovely place to get away from all the noise in the city. Only thing I’d recommend is if you want to do a long stay buy groceries prior because it’s a 15 minute motorbike ride to town. Other than that I couldn’t recommend this place more. Amazing food, atmosphere, tours and staff.

This place is an experience, rather then just a hostel. It begins with taking a motorcycle up to the hostel which is in a very remote location which makes it fantastic for relaxing and hanging out by the pools which have a beautiful view of the mountains. The restaurant offers good food, reasonably priced (roughly 22,000cop for dinner), and if you didn’t bring food to cook that is really your only option. It is in a beautiful location for relaxing and reading a book. We enjoyed our stay.

This place is absolutely amazing. It's not in Minca, and without doing a 5 hour hike you can't get to Minca, so it's no good if you're wanting to see the town or do activities organised in the town. However, it's in a beautiful remote location and has amazing facilities (the pools are stunning!) and organises lots of activities. We did the tour of the local cacao farm, which was really interesting, and the Bee Tour which was good but not great. Food costs about 22, 000 COP for evening meal.

A dream! The perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. It was a bit hectic getting there as the road is in a bad state but the people in the area have decided against paving the road to leave nature undisturbed. The pools are lovely and the walks around the finca are great. We extended our stay and wish we could stay longer. Downsides: really hard beds in dorms, no lockers (but we felt it was safe), wifi in restaurant only, bar upstairs wasn’t being used so you have to walk up heaps of stairs lol

Had a really nice time here chilling out in the jungle. The pools are amazing, the staff are lovely and the food is superb. Nothing is expensive and it well worth a few days to chill out and hike. I had a private twin room, it was nice (with AC!). Decided to stay here over anywhere in minca (Casa elements in particular). Had a great time 💖🇨🇴 muy bueno!

So it's an absolute pain in the ass to get here (where is says motorbike they do mean an actual motorbike), but it is definitely worth it. Really incredible little place in the middle of nowhere, the food is great, and the scenery is flawless. The guest kitchen is very limited but the dinners aren't too expensive. Worth bringing your own food for breakfast/lunch and some beers if you're here for a few days and don't want to spend too much. Well worth it.

Loved it here - the location is stunning, the food is great, the pools are good. My only negative is that there were no lockers in the room - only down by reception which was a long way from my room down lots of steep steps. Not ideal. It’s not easy to get here and the mototaxi ride is an experience to say the least - but it’s well worth it. Also liked the hostel’s eco stance. Not the best for solo travellers as it’s not especially social but it’s a great place to chill.

Great pools, beautiful location. Not in Minca!! Food was good, atmosphere was good. Not a party place, the bar and social areas are shut at 10:30ish. Nice and quiet location, great for relaxing and close to walkable waterfalls and swimming holes.

Far out of Minca so bare that in mind! Nice views and nice pools, dorms are pretty basic but do the job. Food is amazing and staff are lovely, not much of a social vibe though!
