Finca Carpe Diem was a little piece of paradise. Amazing location in the mountains, great views all around, and incredibly friendly staff. They offer a variety of activities, some free and some you have to pay for but all of them very much worth it. I highly recommend this hostel and can’t wait to go back!

Great hostel! Feels like you are in a resort. What a view, you are surrounded by amazing nature. Don't let the location scare you off because the mototaxi ride to the place is already an amazing experience. Good food in the restaurant but there is also a kitchen (bring food though, there are no supermarkets nearby) When I was there the electricity failed a couple of nights but for me this was even better for some stargazing in the pool. Magical place 😊

Beautiful hostel with AMAZING pools. The view from the pools is priceless. Great food. Can be pretty expensive but there’s a kitchen so definitely grab some food before heading there. Coffee tour was awesome and people were great

Amazing place to stay ! Relaxing at the amazing pool with the amazing view. Lots of cool small hikes to do around + some rivers and waterfalls. Keep in mind that’s in not in minca nor close to. But we didn’t mind! The rooms are very comfortable and everything is super clean :) The hostel kitchen lacks some equipment and there’s nothing around to buy anything so do your shopping before :)

Really beautiful and relaxing hostel in the mountains. The pools and hammock area are awesome places to chill and relax with great views. Chill vibe, not at all a party hostel. Enough activities offered during the day to keep you occupied if need be. The restaurant is nice but can get expensive if buying all meals there; there is a guest kitchen which is functional enough but could definitely do with some updated cookware. Rooms and bathrooms well maintained. Highly recommend this place!

Really beautiful hostel with a few days worth of activities around it. But don’t think this hostel is close to Minca it really isn’t, you have to get a motorbike and then a taxi to get to Minca taking around 45mins and costing 50000 per person. If you have a fear of motorbikes don’t book this hostel as there is no other way of getting to it unless you hire a private car which is a lot of money. Overall worth staying for a few days it is a hidden gem!

Great hostel to relax and hang out with friends. We stayed in the 8 bed deluxe dorm which had AC, mosquito nets and super comfy beds. I had the best couple of sleeps here in months. Only basic utensils in the kitchen but I was able to prepare the food I wanted. Lockers were far away from our dorm but available. Dinner was nice. The views from the top pools were incredible at sunset!

Super relaxing place with amazing views! I loved it here. there’s lots to do. The rooms were nice, but the lockers for your valuables were a bit out of the way. The food was good but a bit expensive. You can also bring your own food as there’s a kitchen.

The atmosphere felt more individualistic than communal which defies the purpose of staying at a hostel. The prices were way too high. While I understand they need to run a business there is no need to charge 5x more for laundry. It makes it especially hard when you are traveling light and need to wash your clothes frequently. Staff appeared to be irritated if you didn’t speak Spanish. One of the showers had a bat. Not very happy with the place. Would not go back.
