    Superb

This place was great. The staff is the best part about it. They are all young travelers as well and so friendly and inviting. It’s such a homey and relaxed atmosphere. After exploring the city all day it was great to come back, have a beer, and chill in the lounge with everyone. There is a great grocery store down the block for cheap eats, and the nearest train was not too far. It is a little outside the city, but it was nice to go to a quieter area after a crazy day. Would recommend for anyone!

This is my second time staying at Guesthouse Fete, it was still amazing second time around! The staff are lovely (particularly Lily(?)), and despite looking a little basic it has all the amenities and more that you are looking for (the complimentary straightener was key!), and that duvet is the best duvet I’ve ever slept in! It’s well located and there are different train stops 5-10mins away (depending on which line). The added bonus of being LGBTQ friendly makes me feel very comfortable!

Super chill place with great vibe and interactions with other (solo) guests. Bit of a walk to the train station, but that's pretty much the only downside. Huge super market around the corner which is open till midnight!

    Fabulous

Nice hostel helpful staff. The beds were spacious and nice, just a little bit hard and thin mattress. There's a small locker for valuables but enough space in or under the bed to put backpacks. Showers are good. Could have been a bit more ordered/clean in general. A bit far from the subway/train stations especially when carrying a heavy backpack, and the area is not so interesting in itself. Would recommend it though for those who want a cozy and personal hostel with a friendly vibe.

    Very Good

Nice location in quiet street, with a cool bar where I met nice travellers. Showers and facilities in general are nice. But rooms were smelly, dark and noisy, curtains on the capsules didn't close completely, letting light and noise coming inside. Sleeping with earbuds I woke up everyday really early. Japanese staff was super helpful and kind, but the bunch of Gaijins "working" there would rather spend their time talking about their lives than cleaning, help you in any way or connect with you.

The guesthouse is in a quiet part of Tokyo, famous for sumo wrestling. Nice, peaceful walk to/from Asakusa and easy train access to the rest of the city. The staff was friendly and polite. The beds are fairly comfortable. There was slight confusion in where to get towels and/or where to put dirty sheets, so which was uncomfortable. For the amount of money spent, it was an okay choice.

I booked the private twin room but this wasn't really a private room - more like a segregated space at the back of the dormitory. Not private as could still hear all the noise form the dormitory at night. So this was a disappointment as it feels is was misleading. Apart from that, good hot showers and a nice common area on the ground floor.

The rooms themselves don't have locks and feel rather unsecure. The shower area and kitchen are right outside of the female dorm and there is no lock, so lots of in and out traffic of every gender. Didn't feel super dangerous but not as safe as I would have liked. Alright place staff is nice enough, but weird vibe. Not great for a solo traveler
