Great place to stay for visiting Masada. There is a bus stop near-by and a parking lot for cars; it's about a 5 minute walk up to the cable car for Masada. Very comfortable rooms (and quite spacious too!), beautiful views too.

The place was amazing, big and clean. Would really recommend it. I would like just to make a point though. A lot of people said that it was an amazing place, with an amazing breakfast. The breakfast is good but it’s a buffet. So I wouldn’t say amazing. There are choices but not enough fruits in my opinion.

I never imagined that I could find such a nice situation at the very foot of Masada. I adviced traveler especially in groups to take advantage of group meals or individual meal plan. I'm telling all my friends if you're going to Masada that Masada Guest House-Hostile is the only place to stay.

Perfect location for visiting Masada National Park (it’s literally right next to the entrance!), also right next to a bus stop if visiting the Dead Sea/Ein Gedi or going on to Jerusalem or Eilat. The breakfast and dinner are really great, so much choice (especially for vegetarians). Only criticism is how hot the room was even with air con. To be fair it was extremely hot while I was there (lowest it got at night was 30 degrees), but could not feel the air con at all.

Not the typical backpacker hostel, but more a hotel and place for school groups, but I still enjoyed my stay very much! It's a big complex, therefore, very spacious with a pool, a big terrace overlooking the Dead Sea and also lots of space in the rooms. Breakfast is good, and the surcharge for dinner is really good value. Also good location to discover the Dead Sea region or for hikes.

The day we arrived the kitchen was closed for annual cleaning and the swimming pool was not accessible either. For the price of a hotel (and considering the distance to other restaurants) we expect a pro-active communication, which was not the case. Location is perfect and rooms as per photos. Friendliness of staff as per average in the country (direct, no protocols of politeness..)

Good choice of stay to try the famous "Snake trail" Massada ascension into the sunset at the top. The breakfast is good but its timetable allows for a very time- tight visit to the city if you are planning to do the sunset track. It's better to leave the Information center for after breakfast. The swimming pool is great and the rooms are very clean and neat.

Wonderful place if you're interested in hiking Masada but that's all. It's in the middle of nowhere so unless you have a car, you're stuck there with no restaurants, shops, groceries, or anything else. A drive to the Dead Sea is about 15 minutes away on the highway. Honestly, this place is an actual hotel, not some cheap hostel. It's very nice, and that's why it's expensive. But you won't find any interesting travelers or activities here that you typically get at the usual hostels.

As it’s the only hostel available near Masada, it’s seems like the staff don’t make any effort to be welcoming and warm. Room was ok, food also but quite expensive !
