We would have liked to come to Masada, but the road was blocked because of the flood. So we had to cancel our booking on short notice. We called the hostel. The person was very friendly and promised that nothing will be charged. I hope we will be able to visit Masada someday in future...

We had a great overnight visit and chose to stay because of the location at the foot of Masada. It was great to wake up before dawn and hike up and be back down in time for a delicious breakfast. We also ate dinner the night before and the food was great. We enjoyed the freshness and variety and two people in my family are vegan and the choices were more than ample for them.

The hostel was much nicer than we expected. Clean and comfortable rooms. Pool was fantastic after the sunrise walk. Staff made a great recommendation for dinner in ein bokek. Dad recomend it for anyone considering the sunrise walk.

Great place to stay for a night in the Dead Sea. Perfect for climbing Masada, and the breakfast is good too!

The day we arrived the kitchen was closed for annual cleaning and the swimming pool was not accessible either. For the price of a hotel (and considering the distance to other restaurants) we expect a pro-active communication, which was not the case. Location is perfect and rooms as per photos. Friendliness of staff as per average in the country (direct, no protocols of politeness..)

Great view over the dead sea and amazing breakfast. Dinner is also recommended (~NIS 60). There is no possibility for shopping or eating next to the hotel.

Fabulous location, love the refreshing pool. Nice room. Only complaint is that they should have dinner served there every night as once you are there, at night you can't get anywhere else to eat and there is nothing around. Also the meal is rather expensive. However, the food was great.

Wonderful place if you're interested in hiking Masada but that's all. It's in the middle of nowhere so unless you have a car, you're stuck there with no restaurants, shops, groceries, or anything else. A drive to the Dead Sea is about 15 minutes away on the highway. Honestly, this place is an actual hotel, not some cheap hostel. It's very nice, and that's why it's expensive. But you won't find any interesting travelers or activities here that you typically get at the usual hostels.

The view was amazing. There was an issue with dinner. We were given tickets for dinner, never informed of a charge or how much the dinner was. It was actually a disgusting meal. Unfortunately we ate there b twice, because there are no local area places to eat. Ate only salad. Food was not edible. Upon checking out , we were charged $70. American dollars for 2 people for 2 nights. There was no discussion allowed. We were forced to pay. Very unhappy
