One of my favourite hostels in Santiago! The barrio Italia as a neighbourhood is just great with plenty of Coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques. Also metro station close. The breakfast is super! You can make even your own eggs! Will stay here again!

Very happy with that hostel. Clean and tidy, staff were very helpful, bathrooms were clean, quite close to the centre, or easily accessible on the underground. A very good selection for breakfast.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at, especially in South America. Very safe, the staff is super friendly and nice, it’s clean and the breakfast is super good. The seating area is super nice to enjoy a glass of wine or breakfast. If you’re looking for a party place, this is not it though...

Great stay. The staff were extremely friendly and made my stay an experience I will always remember. Being there for work in a slower time of the year, creating that bond was important. All facilities necessary were there. The whole hostel was always clean and comfortable. Location is also great, it is in a nice and walkable part of the city that had plenty of bars and cafes. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Such welcoming, friendly and helpful hostel staff! I stayed here on my first few nights in Chile and it’s a great place to relax and sleep off jet-lag! Breakfast is really nice, lovely outdoor area and very clean! Great location, near Barrio Italia with lots of nice places to eat. When I stayed there weren’t many other travellers, probably due to the protests, but everyone I met there was super friendly! All the best to everyone at Hostal Casa Aborigen :)

Loved this hostel!! It’s not the most sociable hostel, but it is very clean and comfortable and the breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in South America so far! The staff are lovely, especially one guy (never got his name!!) who helped me when my charger broke and was generally a lovely guy! Ended up staying there for over a week and would happily have stayed longer, 100% would stay there again. Thanks guys!!

A pretty new hostel, so there are finishing touches they want to add, but it’s really great so far. The cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in in South America in almost 3 months. Helpful staff, great breakfast, good location, lovely courtyard for breakfast and nice sociable common area.

Nice, clean hostel. Located in Barrio Italia, which has lots of good cafes and restaurants. The kitchen is clean and well equipped, and breakfast was also very good. It's also very safe while protests are going on.
