Hostel Plinio was a real treat to stay at. Everything about it met and exceeded expectations. From the top terrace of your room is an outstanding overlook of the pacific. Some of my favorite sunsets I witnessed from those balconies. The staff was top notch, incredibly helpful with everything, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to them. This hostel is certainly not lacking when it comes to amenities. Warning: You may end up staying longer than anticipated. Cheers you crazy kids

Great hostel in Manuel Antonio area. It has a chill vibe and amazing facilities, such as a cool pool and a nice bar to eat and drink. The only downside is the distance to the park, outside restaurants and the beaches, but there is a bus that connects quepos with Manuel Antonio every 15 minutes which makes everything yo be close. The highest point is the cheerful staff, Enzo in the bar and Karen and Cristian in the reception always available to help and give accurate recommendations

I cannot say enough about this place. From the second I walked into the hostel it was nothing but wonderful. The staff greeted me and treated me like family. The atmosphere was like none other I've ever encountered. The bar/taco bar had the most phenomenal food and drinks. Relaxing in the pool after doing my adventures through out the day was the perfect way to end my day. I highly recommend you give this place a try. Thanks to Ollie, Brit, Cory, Chris, Karen, and Steve for a wonderful trip!

This hostel is unlike any other hostel I've been in. It's some strange mix between a resort, a treehouse, and a hostel and it's amazing! There's a pool, four hammocks, a huge lounge area, and to top it off, each open-air dorm room has a lookout-style balcony floor! The owners (Cory and Britt) and staff (Chris, Karen) are all incredibly friendly. 10/10 breakfast. Downside is no AC and no blankets and no hot water. But really, 95% of the time, it wasn't necessary because the weather was perfect.

Pros; close to Manuel Antonio, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. The outside is quite cozy with all the plants and hammocks. The food at the Taco Bar is yum! Check it out. Cons; I had a private room, there was no safe or place to lock valuables, the “window” is a mesh screen, leading to sound and potential security issues. The main road is right there, so very load cars driving by at night. Bring earplugs! Those helped a lot.

The nights are quite loud because it's beside a main road and there are no windows on the private rooms, only fly screens. Breakfast is good and staff are friendly

Great looking hostel. Lots of places to relax - hammocks, rocking chairs, recliners the pool. The private rooms have large windows that don't close which look onto the common areas. This was noisy and limited private conversations in the room.

    Very Good

I loved the dorm room here. Maybe because we were the only ones on the first night. But I found the room pretty with a staircase going up to your own rooftop balcony. And sat up there for an evening beer. Each dorm room also has it’s own porch. The downside was the location. The road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio is windy with no sidewalk and we didn’t feel super safe walking along the road. YOu can take a bus which I spent only 360 colones or walk into town which is 10 minutes.

    Very Good

We actually loved staying here! The atmosphere is like nothing else, you feel like you practically live in the jungle - but! It was located in an annoying place. Not very far from Quepos, but the way back was uphill! This was a little more manageable because of the frequent bus driving from Quepos to Manuel Antonio and back again. The kitchen was not very nice, but the pool and the common area were both very nice. They had staff cleaning the hostel every day, but it never felt super clean.
