Guests enjoy having everything they need on location and the staff at Plinio strive to make the hostel a relaxing and tranquil experience. It is an excellent choice for travelers wishing to steer away from the party youth hostels and experience many of the comforts and ascetics of a rustic hotel with the communal atmosphere and prices of a hostel.

For travelers seeking a more private stay, Hostel Plinio has several options. The most economical option is the double bed, shared-bathroom, private room. Perfect for couples on a budget!
Next are the standard and basic private suites. These rooms have two stories, a private bath with hot water, stunning ocean views, semi-private patio, a king size bed and a full-twin bunkbed or two twin size beds. Perfect for groups of 3-5 people ($10 per person charge for 2+ guests).

Comfortable bed and nice housing and kitchen. The beach is at least 20 mins away but the bus station is very close. The only downside is that it’s very noisy due to the location being on a big, busy street. Especially at night. Otherwise it’s a very nice hostel!

honestly probably the best hostel i’ve stayed at. super cute especially for the price, less that $1 quick bus ride to get to quepos or manuel antonio. the workers are super sweet, has lots of nice common areas, dorm rooms are super cute, has a pool and its own restaurant. super nice

This place has potential BUT… there are a few issues. Aesthetically this hostel is very cool with a treehouse vibe, pool, and attached restaurant. Downside: open air/net wall to the main road causes a LOT of noise all night long. Facility maintenance is not a priority, at one point every shared bathroom was out of commission. Cleaning staff did work daily BUT they occupied the only available bathroom at 8am when everyone was trying to get ready. There are no community efforts or activities.
