Defying the winding staircases, our staff will bring you tea, coffee and shisha all day and all night long; the views are amazing and the company is marvellous!

If you feel able to tear yourself away, we can organise excursions from Sahara Rouge at a moments' notice and our staff know the city of Marrakech better than any Google search! If you fancy yourself as a bit of a chef, we can offer cookery courses from bargaining for tomatoes in the vegetable souq, to a finished tagine to be shared (it is after all a hostel!)

Hostel Riad Marrakech Rouge welcomes you to come and stay with us; leave your comfort zone and your facebook account at home, be happy and inspired, learn about Morocco from our incredible staff, meet others, and the enjoy the wonderful atmosphere; all the components that make a hostel a hostel and not a hotel.

This place has to be one of the best hostels. The people who run it are so great - genuine, nice, generous, good ass people. And the place is so excellent inside - chill common room and just so colorful and eclectic. It’s such a great deal.

This is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at, the staff made my trip!! Zackeria and Medi were extremely helpful and gave me recommendations for restaurants, where to shop, and what to do in Marrakech. Because of them I was able to see things I didn’t even know existed and I owe my amazing trip to their friendliness and generosity. They went out of their way to help me figure out what to do and I’m so happy I stayed here because Medi and Zackeria are the reason why I had so much fun in Morocco!

I stayed here twice during a one month trip to Morocco! The building itself is cozy and nicely decorated, and there’s tortoises on the roof as an added bonus(; the staff here are so friendly, Zachariah even walked me to my taxi at 5am!! As a female traveler I felt safe and welcome here, thanks guys

Zak and Medhi were the best. Immediately welcomed us with big smiles when we arrived late at night. Every time we were in the hostel we would hang and talk about all sorts of stuff. Great energy those guys have. They also helped immensely with our travel plans and answering any questions we had. We returned from the desert but didn’t need to stay overnight so they welcomed us to come back and hang during the day and leave our stuff there without any extra costs. I certainly recommend!

Overall great place to stay, great atmosphere and friendly staff with yummy breakfast. Main complaint is that there seemed to be no hot water - and the showers were small so it was hard to avoid the cold water during showers.

Relaxed atmosphere, great staff, nice location a little away from the main market. We stayed in a private room which was spacious but a little run down. Good mix of people. Probably would look for a quieter hostel next time I visit Marrakesh, but I don't regret staying here.
