Hostelworld says

The staff of the Lisboa Central Hostel have an extremely high rating on Hostelworld, no doubt due to their friendliness and vast knowledge of Lisbon. They also make free soup every day as well as free milkshakes on Mondays, while one Hostelworld user said the free breakfast of fruit pancakes was the 'icing on the cake' of a 'faultless' stay. We like that they offer lots of little extras to their guests, from cheap sangria and beer to pub crawls and free popcorn on movie nights.

The best hostel I have stayed at in Lisboa! Great location, staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. They seem to enjoy working at the hostel and that adds to a good feeling about the place. Was welcomed with a smile and a drink, rooms were large and spacious and the beds comfortable and designed to offer privacy, even in dorms. Lockers are avaialble and a good size, also you pay €1 but get it back when opened. Cannot fault it at all and it was a pleasure to stay here.

Loved our stay at this hostel! Great vibe, the staff and travellers are all very friendly and lots of common space and activities to meet people ! The 4 dorm we had was one of the most spacious I’ve had in a hostel, beds had curtains and strong AC. They also had many free meals including one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a hostel, also had free tapas and free homemade soup! About 15 min walk to the city centre but metro is also super close.

Lisboa Central Hostel says

We're a small hostel that likes to treat every guest as part of our family. The Portuguese are known for their hospitality so we treat them according to Portuguese traditions, call them by their names and try to make them feel at home. I think that someone that's travelling likes to feel welcomed and likes to find a home-like atmosphere that makes them feel comfortable. We have daily activities to encourage interaction amongst the guests - things like sangria happy hour to some liquor, wine and Portuguese food tastings, movie nights, milkshakes for the hot days, hot drinks for the cooler days, and cupcakes and soups. Plus there's movies, cards, video games and pub crawls. It's pretty entertaining around here.
We're in Marques de Pombal, the centre of the city, a few minutes away from downtown and the historic area, and a short bus ride from Belem and metro trip from Nation's Park. When people ask me what they should do here, I usually say that Lisbon is a city for walkers - its typical neighbourhoods are inviting for long walks and every day you discover something new.
