Property Description

Hostel, Bar & Indian Restaurant

Our dream to build an eco-friendly hostel in Otres Village was born at the tail end of 2015. Our inspiration comes from a magical faraway place where Peter Pan and his Lost Boys live.

With the help from volunteers, travel pals, and friendly local Khmer people, we built an unique hostel with open construction made out of natural materials and recycled woods.

Currently we have five tepees and a two story treehouse style dorm for our guests, being able to accommodate up to 25 guests.

The main features of the Hostel include:

// The round open plan driftwood bar is surrounded by cushions, hammocks and swings overlooking the lake with multiple different level platforms - perfect for conducting workshops, reading a book, painting or simply enjoying the atmosphere...
It has been decorated like no other place you will find in Cambodia.

// Our outdoor kitchen is fully stocked and ready for us to cook delicious meals together! We are working on planting a small garden full of fruits and vegetables for all guests to use!

Currently we are growing bananas, mangos, passion fruits, dragon fruits, pineapples, morning glory, chillies and much more in between our jungle style accommodation. With your help we would love to plant even more!

We opened the gates in November, by January this year the hostel was in full swing.
From this came good and bad experiences and expectations which we would like to carry into the start of this new season.

One of our proudest set ups is the weekly village clean up (Mondays) where we collect the trash left behind from tourists and locals.
We like to respect our environment and we would like you to get involved - you get a good mix of people from around the village helping out creating a team like atmosphere.

We also like to hold food nights - last season we held at least 3 nights a week in which we invite travellers and friends to try different world cuisines including Khmer, Indian, Mediterranean, Mexican, German, Austrian and Italian dishes.

Our opening hours are from 8am to 12pm every night, in order to ensure guests and volunteers are well rested - last orders are usually around 11.30pm and the bar is closed by 12am.

Come to our place and you'll be lost in a world like no other.
We are located in the humble but buzzing Otres Village.
If you are looking to lounge on relaxing sandy shores, we are only a short walk down the road from the stunning beaches of Otres, waiting for you to explore! View House Rules

Such a lovely place! You can tell the owners took a lot of care building it and it is a beautiful. A wooden wonderland of twisting staircases, little huts and hanging lights. Good location next to ottres beach, boho (lovely pool with a nice bar), and the bar street. No WiFi (not unusual in Sihanoukville), but the electricity was solid. Social vibe is smoking pot and chilling but if that's not your thing the bars in ottres city are right round the corner.

This hostel is different and has a good vibe, the teepee hippy style is cool and that’s what we liked about it. We were only there for one night but well worth the price we paid for it. Only negativity is there is no security, you just have to leave your bags next to your mattress and hope no cretin steals your stuff

Absolute party hostel, don’t stay if you don’t like parties. Very friendly staff, easy to make friends. Stay in a fun treehouse with mosquito nets. We extended our stay as it was so nice. Limited showers to share between everyone and sand gets in your bed often. Good location close to lots of cafes and food. Would recommend as it’s such an experience!

    Very Good

Cool place, definitely for a certain type of person; we didn't really feel as though we fitted in. You get free eggs and baguette which you can cook yourself for breakfast. It was in a good location, only about 15 min walk to the beach. There was constant heavy techno playing whilst we were there so don't expect to sleep much. We were also woken up by drilling at around 7am. The design of the hostel is really fun, the shower was lovely and everything is pretty clean.

Unfortunately during my stay at Neverland there was no power, not a fault of the hostel itself, however I wasn’t informed of this when I checked in. Therefore wasn’t aware until I got back in the evening and couldn’t turn on a light, the fan in the room or charge my phone. Not a huge issue, but would have appreciated being told at check in, as the power hadn’t been on for two days prior (according to another guest), so they were aware of the issue. Otherwise a good stay, lovely atmosphere

Booked for one night but ended up switching to a different location closer to the main drag. Staff was super friendly and totally understanding. The place is super rustic, very unique and has a ton of potential but could use some tlc

Booked for 5 nights, but left after 1. We checked in and were informed that there was temporarily no power (thus, no lights, fan or wifi) as we were shown to our room (we later found out the bill hadn't been paid). There was also no running water, the tipi was unclean and leaked in rain during the night, and we woke to the sight of rats in the rafters over our bed. In fairness, the staff were friendly and, when we told them of our experience, did not charge us for our night's stay.

After traveling all day, I arrived. The hostel is reallllllly far from everything compared to all the other hostels. Which was kind of off-putting, but okay. The host said that I couldnt stay there bc it was closing down the next day. He didn’t contact me ahead of time or anything. This has been booked for several months. I sat down to book another & he informed me to “just go down the road & find something.” Walked about 30 mins to town bc tuk tuk’s weren’t in that area.
