About

LUK Hostel is more than just a place to sleep – it’s where global travelers, digital nomads, and solo adventurers find their urban sanctuary. Tucked in the heart of Bangkok’s vibrant Chinatown and historic Old City. Whether you're a solo female traveler looking for safety and social vibes, or a remote worker seeking reliable co-working space, LUK Hostel welcomes you with modern design, budget-friendly comfort, and a dynamic community.

Our place is all about stylish affordability. Choose from comfy private rooms or cozy shared dorms, then head up to the rooftop terrace – the perfect resting spot after a day of exploring temples, cafés, or nearby street markets. Just steps away, you’ll uncover street food heaven: from sizzling satay skewers to traditional Thai food, you’re never far from your next culinary adventure. And when you're craving a mellow moment, drop by our in-house café, serving up Thai tea soft serve. For the modern digital nomad, we provide 24/7 Wi-Fi, plenty of power outlets, and an air-conditioned co-working space where productivity meets comfort.

Just behind Luk Hostel, Songwat Road is a hidden spot where old Bangkok meets new creative vibes. Once a busy river trading street, it’s now filled with old shophouses, cafés, family-run noodle shops, and etc. The smell of coffee mixes with Chinese herbs, and colorful street art brightens the walls. Here, artists and local makers work side by side, keeping traditions alive while adding fresh ideas. The pace is slow, the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. For guests at Luk Hostel, Songwat Road is more than a backdrop — it’s an invitation to explore a side of Bangkok that’s rich in history, full of flavor, and alive with new ideas. Step outside, and you’re already part of the story.

The location was amazing, I much prefer Yaowarat to Khao San Road and would recommend this area to anyone. The hostel was also basically empty so I got a 6-bed room to myself, as did my friend. I did not try the free sandwiches they offer. Unfortunately, the place has a mold problem. The ceiling of the bathroom is all spotted with black and the rooms are so musty. A lot of the doors around the building need repairs. Overall, a nice quiet stay in a good area, but the building needs maintenance

i stayed in the 24 person mixed dorm & i have no complaints about this hostel! amazing location, biggest pod-style beds i’ve ever stayed in, extremely quiet, extremely clean, friendly & helpful staff. i will say it’s definitely not a social hostel but if thats your vibe i would absolutely book this. they have free egg sandwiches for breakfast as well which is pretty cool. based off of location alone id book this one again. amazing common area as well. 10/10
