Great location in Chinatown close to the metro and street food. The staff spoke fluent English and were helpful. Luggage storage is available for free. Rooftop bar/breakfast spot is nice, the breakfast was toast, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and cooked veggies served buffet style. I saw staff cleaning very frequently. The only issue was the uneven stairs everywhere, which were especially inconvenient if you have to find the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Really enjoyed my 3 nights here and did extend for a 4th. Very easy to meet people if solo traveling as the rooftop was social, but the rooms still quite. Private need spaces and plenty of locker room. Bathrooms on different floors is a bit frustrating but no deal breaker. Taken to free muay thai boxing one evening which was great fun! Chinatown is a brilliant location, quieter than khoasan road and great food in the main street.

Luk Hostel ist great. It’s located in the center of Chinatown and there are tons of food options both cheap and good. The MRT is a five Minute walk which makes it very easy to travel to the old town. The hostel has a beautiful roof terrace where you can enjoy a cool beer after a hot day in the city. Staff is super friendly and ready to help you with further planning

Honestly too nice for what I needed, new and clean. good food @ the rooftop and amazing finds nearby. A bit tricky to find and beware if you have a big bag, those chinatown streets are narrow and crowded ;)

This hostel is like an oasis in the otherwise crazy chinatown. Very modern and clean, super nice beds with curtans. The location is good, walking distance to sights like Wat Pho, Grand Palace and so on. Chinatown is a bit overwhelming but you get used to it. The breakfast was nice and I loved the rooftop. I stayed there for 4 nights and unfortunately the hostel did not organize any events during this time, quite disappointing.

Great hostel for people wanting to avoid kho San Road. It's not difficult to find with Google maps. Clean quiet rooms and friendly staff. I stayed 1 night so can't speak for the atmosphere. The breakfast isn't good so don't count on it to set you up for the day. Street food in the surrounding China Town is amazing. Would stay again.

Great place to stay in terms of facilities. Location is chaotic outside but the hostel is a true oasis. Wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers because the atmosphere is very quiet and most people seem to keep to themselves

If you’re looking for something a little quieter then stay here. I thought I was, but as a solo traveller I realised it wasn’t the best. I’d been to Bangkok twice before and wanted a change but honestly you can’t beat staying close - but not on - Kaohsan Road. After one night it was deadly quiet at Luk Hostel so changed to Kaohsan. Completely up to what you want. Chinatown is great though and the hostel is really nice.
