Hostel Marmota is a great choice for both - backpackers travelling around Europe and coming to Innsbruck for sightseeing, sport activities, adrenaline and partying, as well as for tourists coming to Innsbruck by car, no matter if they want to stay a few days, or are just passing by on their way from the north to the south or west to east.

Marmota Hostel is located in a quiet neighborhood in Innsbruck, only 10 minutes by tram from the Railway Station. Only 500 meters from the hostel you’ll find one of the most important Monument of the City – the Schloss Ambras.

Marmota Hostel offers a wide range of services including free WiFi, free luggage storage, and usage of summer terrace. Our guests will be delighted with our ensuite rooms and with their prices. The hostel is easily accessible from the city centre on the tram. The shared dorm we were in was clean and comfortable. In the room, we had two toilets and showers which was excellent. The breakfast that is included was okay if you like Continental style. The bar area was used as the common room. We didn't see many people using this in the evening.

Very clean, friendly people. My main thing is no guest kitchen, and the staffed hours are a little bit inconvenient epically for luggage storage as that’s only available if someone is working at reception
