Hostel Marmota is a great choice for both - backpackers travelling around Europe and coming to Innsbruck for sightseeing, sport activities, adrenaline and partying, as well as for tourists coming to Innsbruck by car, no matter if they want to stay a few days, or are just passing by on their way from the north to the south or west to east.

Marmota Hostel is located in a quiet neighborhood in Innsbruck, only 10 minutes by tram from the Railway Station. Only 500 meters from the hostel you’ll find one of the most important Monument of the City – the Schloss Ambras.

Marmota Hostel offers a wide range of services including free WiFi, free luggage storage, and usage of summer terrace. Our guests will be delighted with our ensuite rooms and with their prices. I could not have been happier with my stay, especially thanks to Ola, who kindly put an ice pack in the freezer after I sprained my ankle, and placed a call to the train line to make sure I could get assistance at my conducting station where the elevator was out. She could not have been sweeter! Breakfast was delicious and wonderful, and the private room, was spotless and quiet and comfy.

Really clean and comfortable hostel, the staff were nice and the free breakfast was very good. The location is a little bit outside of the centre but has the most amazing views to make up for it. I really liked how the hostel was on the outside of town, it felt more secluded and quiet. Would definitely stay again.
