Had an amazing time at Mojo, I also love the market downstairs and the convenience of where everything is situated. 👌

Mojo hostel is more of a hotel, with no common area or kitchen. It does however have on the property a food court, bars and multiple tv screens, mostly showing sports events. There is live music most nights, which is great. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with locker space for security. Mojo is located close to the beaches and it is easy to get to town, if u wish. WiFi is good; overall Mojo provides great value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate staying again !

Fantastic place - amazing location in Sea Point, rooftop views, and the Mojo Market are excellent. The rooms are very sleek and clean, with shower supplies and a safe provided. The only negative we had was that the wi-fi did not work on the second (roof) floor; but Cape Town is beautiful enough that you will rarely be in your room to begin with, and it is not difficult to go down to the lobby to check your email or order an Uber.

A great, centrally located hostel. I must say quite luxurious with full beds, room serviced daily and stunning views. Quite cheap as well Does not have much of a "backpackers vibe" more like a hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My only critism is that the room key kept on resetting and I had to go to the reception numerous times just to access the room. Otherwise great stay.

Amazing location, Market connected to hotel was AWESOME–food from everywhere. Bike rentals and boardwalk right down the street. I stayed in 10 person mixed dorm and it was super spacious and nice. Biggest criticism was the kitchen wasn't super clean and the sinks in kitchen and bathroom would get clogged and a bit smelly. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. Nicest hostel I've stayed in yet!

Really nice place, spacious rooms, really cool rooftop. Cool location being a bit quieter out of the city. Really easy and cheap to Uber in. The markets downstairs are really good. Think the only thing missing would be a inside place to meet other travels other than the markets. Super handy having a kitchen in the room but there’s no where to sit down and eat other than the balcony which obviously doesn’t work when it’s raining or cold. Overal would definitely stay again.

Hostel is very fancy. Facilities are top class as it belongs to hotel. Near to sea point. Socialising might be difficult unless there are good dorm mates. Stayed for only 1 night and hence not much to say

Unfortunately I found it poor here, I’ve stayed at hostels all over the world and this was not good. There’s no bedside table/shelf, no light, no plug sockets (as pictured). The plug sockets where by other beds. I asked reception if they would be able to charge a battery pack for me as I could not leave this on someone else’s bed... the answer was no. They advised I sit on a bench at reception and use a plug there. No hot water 3 of my 4 days when I showered in the evening (power problem).

I used to like this hotel but am very disappointed by the poor quality of service and unprofessional manner in which the staff handled the booking. I instructed the staff to cancel the last day of my booking 72 hours prior. The staff who handled the booking was a trainee & didn't cancel the booking correctly. At checkout, the staff started an argument about this insisting that I should pay for the date they failed to cancel. To date, Mojo Hotel is still harassing me with emails about this.

Clean, good location and the market beneath the ‘hostel’ is interesting. BUT!! this facility is impractical. The ceiling heights mean you have to duck under concrete beams and you hit your head. BUT!! my biggest problem is that a staff member stole my camera. I spoke to managers who looked at camera footage confirming only one person entered our room in that time but wouldn’t do anything. While we were reporting this a laptop and speaker were both taken from the room. THEFT BY STAFF. Not safe.
