Surrounded by a garden, our hostel sleeps under a magnificent 150-year-old tamarind tree, giving us our name – NapPark. There are special Thai cushions and handicrafts in all communal areas. We want you to feel comfortable in this unique traveller’s home.

We offer the highest standard of amenities and commodities. You can relax in our comfortable beds with clean and stylish shower rooms. Wi-Fi is also accessible throughout the building.

Our standard and economy ‘NapSpace’ is actually the same type of dorm but the position of economy beds are more easy to be disturbed by guest entering the room. So we discount those beds for very budget travellers.

Our friendly English-speaking staff are ready to welcome all guests and provide 24-hour service.

Our features include free individual lockers and locks; free linens, towels, duvets, and luggage storage; free internet access and access to computers; free library of books, including travel guides; free maps and travelling advice; free satellite TV and movies on NetFlix and free office supplies and facilities.

Do not miss your opportunity to stay at NapPark Hostel, the perfect base from which to explore Bangkok and beyond!

Please note that our dorms are not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Teenagers aged 13-16 years old should be accompanied by a parent. View House Rules

Get a feel for authentic Thai living with chilled vibes and atmospheric décor at our award-winning NapPark Hostel. Our newly renovated Thai house sits in a garden under an amazing 150-year-old tamarind tree. Meet friendly people from around the world on the outdoor terrace with a Chang or two from our bar, or visit our café for food or a coffee. We like to give you a taste of local culture, so we have traditional floor cushions in the communal lobby (a shoe-free zone). You'll find modern touches too, like satellite TV and movies in our games room.

We're in a brilliant location within the old city of Khao San, Bangkok. An 18-minute walk takes you to the sacred sites of Rattanakosin Island, like Wat Phra Kaew (temple of the Emerald Buddha) and the 18th-century Grand Palace. For shopping, food and drinks, the bright neon lights of Khao San Road are just a 5-minute stroll away. To get to us from the airport, jump in a public taxi (400 to 500 baht) or take the Airport Sky Train (SA City Line) to Phyathai Station, then a taxi to us.

Rooms and Dorms

Get to know other travellers in our sociable mixed and female-only dorms. We make sure you're comfy with free towels, sheets and duvets (there's air con, too!), plus you'll find modern showers in your nearby shared bathroom. To keep bags safe, there are in-room lockers (bring your own padlock) and more by reception.

Extras and activities

To help you get around Khao San and Rattanakosin Island, we've got free maps and English-speaking staff with plenty of advice to give. You can also hire bikes from us for your stay – there are even parking spaces for them. Pop by our supermarket before a day out for drinks and snacks, then after touring the stunning temples, upload photos via our free Wi-Fi (essential!). For culture on a smaller scale, stop by the café gallery to see our contemporary art exhibition of original pieces.

Really great experience. The beds are comfy and feel private. Really close to everything. Lots of areas to relax and hangout. AC is only on in the main floor during the day but is on at night

Stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our 6 month trip around SE Asia. This hostel set the bar really high for other hostels. There is nothing I can fault about the place. 😁 - it was very secure: each guest required a wristband to access their room. - value for money - staff were extremely friendly especially Ren, Brendan and Danny. - location - literally 5 minute walk to Khao San Road but far enough away to escape the madness I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Love the outside hang out area and very clean/secure hostel. We had 22 bed dorm and thanks to the blinds you don’t feel like its more than an 8 bed dorm. Bathrooms always clean, nice air con in rooms and downstairs when room air con turned off, perfect location just 2 blocks from Khaosan with no noise. Friendly staff, luggage storage, super easy to find. 2 time staying and would stay again

Huge lockers, hot showers, comfy beds, super clean, air con and excellent location. I was a bit concerned about staying in a 22 bed dorm but the layout and the dividers made u feel there are max 6 people in the room. I liked that you could either stay in/sleep or party and both would be great. Would definitely stay here again.

Decent place, clean, just a short walk from Khao Son road. It was far enough away that it was relatively quiet at night, but I'm not exactly sure when the really busy time is, so that could've been a factor. Their 22 bed mixed dorm was split into sections, and each bunk had its own little quarters. Nice privacy.

Clean and friendly. Definitely a more social hostel for a young crowd, not so much if you're older. Quiet at night even with being right in the middle of everything. Fast wifi, just wish they had a water bottle filling station.

Nice hostel perfectly location! Showers were lovely. The only issue was how hot the room was and the ac wasn’t allowed to be turned on until 6pm.

Decent hostel with friendly staff. Stayed here after most travellers had left due to you know what. Cannot comment on the atmosphere because of this.

NapPark Hostel at Khao San says

Our hostel is a little piece of paradise in the historical district that never sleeps. We are your perfect base to experience Thai style of living in the centre of the most popular historical attractions of Bangkok. We are walking distance away from The Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew or Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho, The Giant Swing, Bangkok Floating Market, and Khao San Road - all must-see attractions for Bangkok! Personally, I think that our hostel is the real place to retreat with high standards of cleanliness and security. Our rooms are all very comfortable with air-conditioning. We have excellent internet access too. Our location is great for trying all the delicious and cheap street food that Bangkok has to offer. It's a paradise for food lovers! You can also try the beautiful river side restaurants and the lively bars. A nice touch for solo female travellers, is that we have ladies dorms available that are specifically designed for women. Finally, we have a few little extras for Hostelworld guests: you can join in our activities for free or for very special rates and we have discounts for bookings on tours and transportation. You can leave your luggage here for free too. Finally, you will be treated as a honorary member of our Thai family for your stay!
