Clean and secure, has everything you need. Chill staff, has a bar so great for meeting people. Located in one of the prettiest street in the Old town, close to everything. Just a tip, there's a lot of stairs if you have big luggage, but staff helped me with it. :D

We were there only for one night so the location was perfect as it allowed us to enjoy old City. The staff were super nice, shout out to Nayree (sorry about the spelling!) We did a pub crawl and the atmosphere was fantastic truly enjoyable memorable night. Only issue was that in our mixes dorm our beds did not have locked storage under the beds like the others. Other facilities such as bathroom we're good though. We actually returned for another night stay a week later before leaving ✈️

We stayed here twice and so tried both 'parts' of the hostel. One part is old and tired - mattresses are old and uncomfortable, water pressure not great, common area is underground and a bit dingy. The other part is new and fantastic value - comfy mattresses, good showers, really nice common areas. Atmosphere in the bar was nice, though we avoided 'power hour' on Thurs-Sat! They showed a film on Sunday night and gave us popcorn which was great! Overall great value, but your experience will vary.

Beautiful old hostel with a wonderful position in the old town of Tallin, which makes it an optimal starting point for city exploration. I wouldn't recommend it to sociable solo travellers. In my case there were mostly groups of people or travellers that were mainly interested in the city, so I didn't feel invited to do much conversation there. There is one big kitchen with alle the utensils you could need, a common room and a shared bathroom and toilets. Room locks are password based.

Pluses: the staff and location. Top marks here! Minuses: nearly everything else. I stayed in a single room that had stains all over the walls, a window that didn't fully close, and the most uncomfortable mattress (springs jutting into all parts of my body). I did report the bed, and the staff were at least very kind about saying they'd look into fixing it for the next guest. Also at one point, no toilet paper in any stall (staff fixed later), no hot water, and the toilets were not very clean.

The place is deep in old town so its a bit of a drag to get to from the nearest tram line. Up side its right next to old town square. some of the rooms seem to be hit and miss on the quality. Smaller numbers of beds just seem to be a smaller room with stagnate air, given some folks just like to live in the room all day. Not the hostel fault, its pot luck with shared room. Medium number of beds seem to have a lot of space. If you are next to the street or court yard expect it to be noisy.

The staff has music on for them in the reception which would be better in the common area for the people actually paying for the hostel. Bathrooms not clean no atmosphere
