Once Again Hostel is all about introducing you to the authentic Thai way of life. We'll take you on free tailored tours around the old town, visiting century-old forgotten palaces, hidden fortresses and local communities and even dancing groups. Immerse yourself in our culture by taking free language lessons and traditional cooking classes. You'll also be treated to a free buffet breakfast, and you can stop by our café for hot drinks and local dishes. Compare notes with new friends on our delightful rooftop terrace, and take in the views with a Chang in hand.

Flying into Suvarnabhumi International Airport? It'll take about an hour to get to us in a taxi and costs around 500 baht. You can also take the express bus S1 to Wat Ratchanatdaram (a 30-minute ride), and the hostel's a 5-minute walk away once you get off. We're in the heart of Bangkok's old town, surrounded by historic temples. Wat Saket (Golden Mountain) is a 6-minute walk away, while the Temple of the Emerald Buddha is 15 minutes. For nights out, head to the bustling backpacker area of Khao San Road – it's a 15-minute walk from us.

Settle into your bunk with a wide mattress and a private locker to keep your stuff safe – just bring a padlock. You'll have fresh sheets and a privacy curtain to block out the light after a late one. Both our mixed and female-only dorms have air con (essential!) and shared bathrooms with modern showers.

Extras and activities

Relax with a game of pool or a go on the PlayStation, or put your feet up in the TV room and watch a DVD with a free tea or coffee. Ask at our 24-hour reception to borrow an adaptor or hairdryer if you need one, or to use the laundry room. Grab a free city map or use the free Wi-Fi if you're planning an adventure – you can even hire a bicycle to sightsee at your own pace.

Located 10-15 min from khaosan road. The hostel has excellent facilities which will allow you to mingle with other guests if that’s what you desire or just relax in you bunk , comply beds and privacy curtains. Front desk is very knowledgeable and friendly, go ahead and ask them about anything ... best places to get exchange, day trips to ayutthaya or city tours they have insider knowledge on where to get the best rates .. 100% would come again

Very modern and clean hostel in a great location- walking distance to the main sights and surrounded by great local spots! Not a party hostel but incredibly social- organised events and tours are perfect for meeting new people as a solo traveller. Staff are really helpful and cafe area downstairs is great to chill out! 10/10 would recommend

The staff here are super friendly and show you around on check in. The staff are willing to help you. The bed is comfortable with a curtain to draw for privacy. The café is unreal for your coffee fix. It’s really hipster edgy vibes in a modern era. Cement based architecture. There’s on site spa which is unreal before you check out, check into the spa for a massage or facial before a long haul flight it’s most necessary to unwind. The skyline area is a plus, it’s not too hectic.

Awesome, clean hostel. Staff went above and beyond helping figure out the best things to do, transport and where to eat. Great very social atmosphere, lots of common room areas to sit and meet people, it was a perfect choice for a solo traveller. Beds themselves can be locked from the outside which was really neat and very secure. The free Breakfast is little more than toast with fruit though.

Really nothing negative to say. Extremely friendly staff and it generally attracts very open and friendly travellers. I would recommend this to both groups and solo travellers. The location is great, right in the middle of old Bangkok and walking distance from any of the shrines. Good food all around, even if you are vegetarian (just ask the staff for recommendations). Would definitely stay here again when in Bangkok!

This hostel was amazing! I had such a good time here and made friends right away. This was my first solo trip and this hostel was super clean, comfortable, and I loved the privacy curtain on the bed. The hostel had activities for us and free breakfast. It was located really centrally and about a 10-15 minute walk to the going out areas. It was an awesome social environment. I would recommend to anyone going to Bangkok!

Very good hostel, clean, and centrally located. We did almost everything by foot, and had the chance to meet some pretty cool people. The terrace is nice, but doesn’t have much of an atmosphere, maybe just bad timing. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!

Great location for Koa San Road, the Grand Palace and the reclining Buddha, easy to get taxis or tuk tuk further afield too. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and neat with good sized comfortable beds and very private. I loved having the curtain to pull across the bed to give you privacy and the feeling of your own space. I was travelling alone but met some fun people to go out in the evening with. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! The staff are so helpful and friendly, the atmosphere is great and it is so easy to meet new people. Even though I was in a couple we still managed to meet some good friends. The bedrooms are spacious and I loved the security curtain as well as the locked gate for your bed. The rooftop is also great to chill after a busy day. Breakfast is basic with cereal and toast but still great that it is included. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this hostel
