Or you can catch a van at the airport for even cheaper.

Lovely hostel near the centre of Salta. Friendly staff - some can speak English, but also a good opportunity to practise Spanish! Gave me a good restaurant recommendation and things to do during the day. Go to the museum of high altitude mummies! Good amount of English and interesting exhibition. Good kitchen in the hostel as well if you want a cheap meal

Was a really great hostel! The staff especially were very helpful and nothing ever seemed too much. Would recommend staying here, as it was very clean, with enough showers and bathrooms and a large kitchen. At night it was a bit loud but other than that, was very good.

Nice hostel. English-speaking staff were awesome. No AC, but each bunk bed had a fan built into the bunk, which was cool (no pun intended). Decent atmosphere. Bedrooms are all directly adjacent to the hangout areas, so it can be loud into the evening (which in Argentina means 4 AM). Breakfast is decent but served too late for anyone who feels like getting out and doing something interesting or productive that day.

Nice spot to hang out! Pretty clean. Female dorm and women's only bathroom are an awesome touch. My only issue is that they were not flexible when my travel plans changed unexpectedly and I had to pay for a night when I didn't sleep there. Obviously there is a 48hr cancellation policy, but I think as a hostel they should be a bit more flexible...

The dorm rooms open directly onto the common area and the door offers no sound protection so every sound is heard at night when people are returning at night. There is no flexibility with bookings, I wanted to move my booking to a night later and they just said no. They charge a 10 % fee to pay with card. There are too few toilets for everyone. For a hostel of this price I expected better

Pro: mostly friendly staff (except for a few), clean bathrooms Con: breakfast is basic (needs a protein), tours are more expensive than going directly to the tour agency, location is a long walk to the main square, special incident: there was a group of Dutch tourists who were unruly and disrespectful to everyone in the hostel. staff didn't know how to respond to a heated/dangerous situation. staff needs to be better trained. spoke to owner and he tried to make the situation better.

Hostel was ok. But not very easy to meet people if you are traveling alone... no good common area.. breakfast is not very good.. don’t book a tour at the hostel .. paragliding was just with a private guy who was not very competent .. and the wine tour sucks ... so do it better by you own.. Stuff of the hostel was always very nice and helpful... dirty bathrooms

Very overpriced for the facilities/ atmosphere of the place Pros- breakfast included, hostel is very secure and bathrooms were clean, location is close to bars and restaurants Cons- no social atmosphere, dorm that faces the main road is incredibly loud and it’s difficult to sleep, no powerpoints near the top bunk. Staff weren’t overly friendly and often reception was unmanned
