Great place for a few nights in London at no expense. Angus is a great guy to have a beer with, too. See you again.

For starters, Andrew is 10/10 — helpful host and great barkeep. Overall this place is quaint and maintained but for sure not your fancy thrills hotel. Rooms are tight, but have plenty of space if you’re looking for a bed at night. The £2 breakfast was an incredibly unexpected delight and made this place worth the stay. Only a short walk away from the Underground and bus stations, downtown London is easily accessible.

I had a brilliant time!! Its a little hard to find if you dont know where you're going as its not well signposted and its a little in the middle of nowhere away from the main road and I admit I've got lost each of the four times I've been :( but its actually pretty easy to get around once you worked out which bus route to get and where to get off!! Only really like 5 mins away from the main road :) the cheap prices are amazing too and really love staying!! Will definitely be coming again soon!!

Had an awesome and unfortunately short stay here! The staff and locals are awesome and the bar below always has someone that you can have a good chat with! Beds and bathrooms are pretty bare bones but comfortable, you get what you pay for really. Would definitely stay again

    Very Good

    02 Nov 2019
The good: Location, lovely staff, large common room with fridge and microwave, low prices, full breakfast for 2 pounds and 4-6 bed room in decent shape for the price. The bad: lack of cleanliness and maintenance in loos. The owner need to put in some money updating all bathrooms and getting gutters cleaned as they make the nearby room smell (esp Room 12 with 18 beds) Bed bugs in room 5!!!

Felt pretty grimy. Couldn’t sleep in room because of smell. Six people in room with no ventilation could smell pretty badly.

The facility needs a serious face lift...abolish tripple bunkbeds and buy firm matraces, as many people complain about bad backs after spending nights sleeping on sift matraces . Showers and bathrooms do not have hooks and are grimey. There is no kitchen to prepare food l. The only good to Hing is night managers who try very hard to he help their guests. I do not plan to visit this dump ever again!

As soon as you walk inside the pub you’ll notice how run down everything is. I walked into the room and the first thing I noticed was the walls covered and mold and how dirty everything is. I crawl into my bed and the walls by the bed are covered in blood, I start noticing all the bed bugs crawling around, the blood stains are from other people squishing the bugs on the wall and leaving the blood stains behind. Just do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, considering the price - location was pretty good. Unfortunately the 6 bed dorm room was very dirty, smelly, the only window would not open, there was no place to keep things safe unless you buy a lock for a locker for £4 extra. There were food leftovers and alcohol bottles laying around in the room that seemed like was not cleaned in atleast several weeks. The room had distinct smell of mold.
