Rossio was a great hostel in a perfect location - within walking distance of many great attractions and close to public transport. Rooms were clean with great facilities and good security.

Amazing location at Rossio square, you’re steps from the metro and rail stations and lots of food places. Breakfast in the morning was great as well. I was on the bottom bunk and it was too short to sit on, but otherwise comfy. Every bed has a full storage unit underneath including a safe. You will have to walk up at least three floors to get to your room and there is no elevator

Amazing location! Right beside a great little grocery store (2.50€ for coffee, juice, brioche and pastel de nata!) Walking distance to everything (including buses, metro, trains) Staff was super friendly!Breakfast was great! My only complaint would be the rooms were very simple, each bunk bed didn’t have an individual outlet/light. bottom bunk has very little space to sit up if you wanted and the bathroom showers are a bit awkward. 2/3 showers were cold (staff does know how to fix) Would go back.

Rossio Hostel was super cheap in comparison to most other hostels in Lisbon, but without compromising on cleanliness and friendliness. They let us check in slightly early, which was a plus. We booked two beds in a 6 bed dorm, but were actually the only two in there! We loved the cooked breakfast (we've never had that before at a hostel) and they even cleaned up afterwards. It was a bit difficult to find, as it shares a building with a few other businesses, but the location itself was superb!

Brilliant location right in Centre of everything. Worth it for this alone. Personal safe and locker to store your bag is great. Breakfast is lovely. The showers aren’t great. The water kept going hot and cold. There’s nowhere to hang your towel or clothes except a separate room at the end of one shower. One shower head had nothing to hold it up. No towels or dryer to dry your hands. The rooms are stuffy but there is a fan. The street below was noisy but being in the city that’s understandable.

    Very Good

Ideal location. Good that the stay includes breakfast (scrambled egg on toast or pancakes) Showers are less than ideal unfortunately, not very private and not very clean, one was blocked and overflowing into the bathroom. The room (twin) was nice and clean although the bed wasn’t too comfy and had one tiny pillow. I wouldn’t say the atmosphere was great, it didn’t appear to be one of the more sociable hostels I’ve stayed in. Very central location though

    Very Good

Strategically located in Rossio with a great view towards the castle but the hostel wasn’t renovated and some parts of the building were either cracked or were quite dirty. The bottom bed where I slept was super low (I’m 162cm) and I couldn’t even sit up on the bed. There were 3 showers for women, the first was clogged and the door was broken, the second had broken faucet, last one was occupied. I wasn't informed about this and that’s why I was disappointed.

The Hostel were shut when we got there, and somehow DID NOT have us booked in, so WE DID NOT have a bed for the night!!!!!!! We tried telephoning the number on the door, but no-one answered. They admitted in the morning it was there administrative mistake and apologised...but this was of no use to us!! Luckily we managed to get a bed with complete strangers who took pity on us hanging about the street in the early hours of the morning, and let us use the spare bed in there room.
