I found the Sakura Hotel Nippori was a pleasant place to stay. It’s pretty basic and some of you might prefer a bed but having just cricked my back a few days before I found sleeping on the floor just did the trick. It’s just a 5-10 minute walk from Nippori station depend how long you stop to look at the food along the way. If you’ve not experienced the train system in Japan and Tokyo in particular then you’re in for a treat because you can get around to almost anywhere very quickly.

Nice big single rooms and nice shower stalls. It’s nice to have a cafe attached. Laundry is outside in a separate nook

Although I was only staying there because I had to move out, Sakura Hotel Nippori was an amazing stay. Not only is it in a prime location -close to nice local restaurants and a large train station, but it was an affordable, clean, spacious facility full of friendly staff. While I was dealing with the huge hassle and the stress of moving out of my apartment and getting ready for my trip to Osaka, Sakura Hotel Nippori was instrumental in relieving a lot of that worry. Thank you for having me!

Good place really close to Nippori station. We stayed in a tatami room, it was nice and had a air con which was much appreciated in the hot weather. There were students and also families staying.

There are some cotton wadding in the room. Toilets and shower rooms were very clean, locations were good too, both JR Nishi-Nippori station and subway Sendagi station are within 15mins walking distince if you are not carrying heavy luggages. Also there's many family staying there so it's quite a vivid atmosphere.

Sakura Hotel was wonderful. Just what my traveling partner and I needed. Clean, convenient, with excellent staff. The only problem was an overpowering smell in our room, and the one we were moved to when we complained. A moldy, almost chemical aroma that was difficult to stand for us, and probably worse for someone with allergies to mold or environmental sensitivities. I don’t know where it came from, perhaps the glue from the carpet, or just mold in the walls. It was definitely an issue.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in Tokyo for one entire week. Staffs were very English friendly and accommodating to foreign travelers. Hotel is conveniently located in Tokyo with Nippori Station and Sendagi Station to travel to different neighborhoods. Additionally, Nippori Station is one of the few stations that travels to Narita Airport via Keisei Skyline, which eliminates one of my biggest worry of traveling thru Tokyo during rush hours.

Facilities were really run down. It was not a pleasant stay. Staff was very nice and the building seemed very secure, but it was really dirty and musty.
