We loved our stay! Therése was a super hostess - very efficient and friendly. The facilities were spotless, the beds very comfortable, the kitchen excellently equipped and the dining room adequetly spacious. The hostel is beautifully positioned for many historical walks and hikes, and is only a few minutes stroll form a gorgeous beach. We stayed as a family with a teenager, and I would happily stay there again. I have no hesitation in highly recommending the Skellig Hostel to future guests.

Great hostel a few minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in Kerry! There's nothing fancy here but everything works and it's very well maintained. The shared kitchen has everything you need and is big enough for social distancing in corona times. Staff are super friendly. Would definitely stay again!!

A great find at such short notice and a very relaxing retreat. Our host Frieda (from France) was most welcoming. Will certainly be back.

Freida was delightful. I happened to be the ONLY guest on the evening I was there, so it was a bit creepy with the howling wind, but that wasn’t the fault of the hostel. The view was beautiful and the staff very accommodating. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Very thin walls and poor mattresses and shower not powerful. No character. Good location for exploring this area of the coast but only within walking distance of one poor pub for evening drinks.
