Excellent place to stay , the only very little negative note , was the lady with dark long hair in her early forties , when I asked for help because my card wasn’t working, she asked me questions and give me instructions, instead of saying, I am sorry for the inconvenience I will fix it right away. The Scottish receptionist on the other hand an absolute star , extremely helpful, always cheerful with great positive energy.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good quality and inexpensive, and the beds were very comfortable! The only thing I didn't like was that some toilets only provided hand sanitizer instead of soap. I will definitely stay at a St Christopher's again!

Rooms are well organised and the cover for the bed is a nice touch. The dorms are in another entrance which could make it easy for non-guests to enter the corridors too. As I went during winter it was pretty cold in the corridors and in the bathroom/showering area, especially since the windows were open all day in there. Room had extra heater though which made it comfortable. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere in the pub area. Is a bit of a walk to the city centre but nice streets to walk.

My final stop on a 33 day tour of Europe, another good comfy, warm (coming in from a cold January night into a warm hostel is always a pleasure!) hostel. Privacy curtains is always good, every hostel should have them. No stupid " ensuite " either but a proper shower block. No guests kitchen, only the pub next door, so no DIY cooking facilities, but that's okay coz I'm a lousy cook anyway. Brugge is a beautiful city, my feet are still aching after all the walking around and photographing !

We had an ok stay at apartment 1 at 40€ a night. It was not the one shown on the website which was disappointing. There are 5 apartments in the building next to the hostel with bad sound insulation from the stairwell and other apartments, unfortunately we had a party group in the one above us so we didn’t get much sleep. There is a poorly equipped kitchen for limited cooking. The stay was comfortable and the staff were friendly and attentive. Free parking over the bridge nearby.

    Very Good

Great cosy place. Great staff that are attentive. Close to all the attractions. Could do with a kitchen although there was a microwave. As backpackers the room was very expensive for what you get and hard to save money buying your own food when there isn't a kitchen. Toilets were sometimes dirty and the reception /commom area had a bad sewerage smell. Beds are comfy and equipped with own power outlet light and curtain and heaters.

In my room there is only one sink and 4 beds(No wardrobe or something) sink was really dirty.Only good thing is they have a bar and thats all. Do not believe pictures that posted on hostelword. I paid same amount in Amsterdam and ıt was much much better.
