The fans were much appreciated to cope with the heat in early July. Great to have a washer and dryer.

Excellent location downtown with good transit connections. All the staff are friendly and efficient. The dorm rooms are very basic -- no privacy curtains around the beds, and no air-conditioning, but there is a fan in each room. Inside the hostel, it's very quiet; outside, there is daily noise from construction next door and (if you have a room facing south towards Dunsmuir Street) nightly noise from the Railway Stage and Beer Cafe until 2 or 3 in the morning.

The location is perfect and the hostel is safe. However it is very noisy, because of the noise of the street. The bunk bed is also unconfortable: it moves when the other personne moves... So it is difficult to spleep quietly.

There was a good amount of contact from the hostile pre arrival. It is located close to public transport and easy to find on arrive. The staff were friendly but didn’t have a massive amount of knowledge on the local area. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained but the room I stayed in could have done with a better clean and a freshen up. There wasn’t any air conditioning in my room, and the kitchen was really just a fridge and microwave on a table.

Nice location only the room is too small for 4 persons. Building is very old you hear squeaking sound when you walk. The faucet in the room is loose needs tightening.

Excellent location to the local shops and restaurants . Staff service was pretty good after a long flight however not very helpful with activities to do. The hostel itself is pretty old with limited amenities. The beds are very scarce with bedding and poor pillows. Would recommend this spot if planning on eating out all the time and if you are a light packer as there is no lift for bags. Great location though!

I borrow hair dryer on 2 June 2019 and I must give money deposit 5 dollar that time. I returned it early morning on 6 June and reception still close. I meet a cleaning staff near exit door. She didn't want to give back my money and told me my money will be transfer in my credit card. I follow-up this case and email the hostel staff, they said if they cannot transfer my money in credit card. So, really dissapointed with this hostel service and I think its tricky.
