Welcome to The Cambie Hostel Gastown!

Located in the heart of Gastown, we're just two blocks away from the famous Steam Clock of Vancouver and four blocks away from Waterfront Station. At The Cambie Hostel, we offer a blend of comfort, safety, and fun.

We have downstairs one of the most popular bars of the city, The Cambie Bar, where you can enjoy Beer pong, Karaoke and Latin Party AKA Loco Tuesday. Enjoy a 20% discount as our guest!

Our hostel facilities include a self-serve kitchen, a common area with TV and seating, a laundry room with washers and dryers, and luggage storage for your gear.

Please note that we require a 24-hour cancellation notice. All guests must be 19 years or older and provide a valid government-issued ID upon check-in.

Thank you Cambie for the amazing night I’ve read some unbelievable reviews but it turns out way better Front desk were very helpful Jose gave me so many recommendations I was here for only 24 hours and I made the most out of it Shout out to Sellina for being very kind and helpful ! Did not live up to the ‘party hostel’ vibe, the events they advertised didn’t even happen. No privacy in the washrooms. Bedrooms just felt depressing. Staff however were very friendly and it’s in a good location.

The beds were old and creaky and shook every time someone moved. It felt like they were going to fall over. The place felt dirty and overly hot. The light in our room didn’t switch off. The room of two was so small and outdated/ uninviting, I didn’t like sharing as it felt so cramped. Some of the locks didn’t work so didn’t feel that safe. Odd atmosphere in the hostel, a bit sleazy. Bathroom was unclean. Overall, not a pleasant stay.
