Had the Best time. I met Alex and the girls, talking about Arizona and the lovely girl at the desk who helped me very much. Walked to the beach and got Awesome sunset photos. Close to the Pancakes and walked the Coalcreek path to the waterfall with Debra, again excellent photos for my book and exhibit. Love the vibe from the rain-forest and the fragrance at night lulled me to sleep. Adore the gorgeous birds singing to me in the morning. Tell Debra I left my white wine and to share with all

Freaking coolest place ever. You walk a short rainforest path to your accommodation. We stayed in the Stargazer "tent" and they provided hot water bottles to make it nice and cozy! And the cabin with the kitchen was beautiful, mostly made of wood, felt so cozy too. Everything was spotless! And there's a super friendly, fluffy cat that hangs out outside too. Plus the kind receptionist saw we were in need and brought us an umbrella to borrow when it was raining.

Our stargazer cabin did not have a lock, but it was no problem because we kept our valuables in the car. other than that, this was the best hostel i've ever stayed at ! the stargazer is like a little wooden tent, and has clear glass panels on the room so you can see the beautiful stars! The common areas are very nice, and theres plenty of room for everyone. I would love to come back to this hostel!

A few minutes drive outside the town, Hidden away in the bushes. Clean rooms and well equipped kitchen. Lots of buildings with different dorms/rooms. We were in the Rata lodge in a private room and it was very comfortable

It was very quiet when we were staying. There was loads of room in the fridges and shelving area. The communal lounge/dining has a lovely balcony with view of the beautiful rainforest. The parking area is narrow with no markings, and even though there was plenty of room another guest parked in an odd way, which meant only 3 cars were able to park and street parking was congested. The staff had forgotten to put out handtowels and bathmats and doesn't provide towels for all rooms.

I can definitely say that the lady at the front desk was excellent and the nearby beach was cool. I’m reviewing the 6 bed dorm. My bed was fine, but the empty one next to mine was so flattened that my butt hit the floor when I laid down. I’m definitely not overweight. There were only 2 wall plugs - one in either side of the room. No locks on anything. The front desk doesn’t give you a key, because nothing is locked. The WiFi definitely didn’t work and there was no cell reception at all.
