Absolutely stunning! Never seen a hostel so clean and well managed. The rooms have so much space and they smell amazing! Bathrooms are spotless and very modern. Kitchen is also brand new and everyone cleans after themselves, so it literally stays clean 24/7!! The eating area is so well designed clearly influenced by the most luxurious hotels in the world. The lounge areas are filled with the newest designer sofas and you cant help but to feel at home. They should change the name to Hive Hotel.

The Hive hostel has a top location and a very nice atmosphere. They have a backyard with a sofa and many rooms to read, play pingpong, eat and so on. So your not all the time in a crowded room. The kitchen is really big although they were short of forks. For the price you definitely get a really good hostel and the staff is very helpful and cool, too. I really enjoy my stay here :D

I don't know if it's the way the hostel is set up or if I just got lucky but I have never met a more social group of backpackers. EVERYONE at this hostel was above and beyond amazing. Complete strangers sharing meals, playing games and just overall becoming friends in seconds. Never have I felt so welcome in a hostel.

It's quite big, lots of places to hangout. Lots of fridge space, awesome staff. Downsides is the sofas are all torn to pieces, they look like they want to give you fleas haha. This places seems to be a half way house with a lot of residents.

This hostel is ideal for those on a budget, you basically get what you pay for. The bathrooms are pretty run down/dirty. The rooms and beds are surprisingly comfy and the air con is at a perfect temp. There seems to be a lot of older people staying here like (40+), don't know whether that was just the timing. Definitely nicer/cleaner places to stay in Perth.

The receptionist (french girl) seemed way more interested in chatting with her friends than actually do her job.. She acted like she couldn't be bothered and it felt like she was annoyed when I asked for info she didn't give me. the reception was open intermittently with very long breaks, during which the curtain was shut but I could hear them inside chatting about random things not related to work. The lock in my room was broken, and the number of bathrooms wasn't enough to accommodate everybod
