About

Perths favourite hostel re-launched. The new Spinners is now open.

With 25 years experience as Perth’s most chilled hostel, we’ve had some time to design the perfect zones for you. Those same chilled vibes are still here. But everything else is new. Like the new design led bedrooms with personalised charging stations aside every bed, bathrooms with built in hairdryers, wrap around garden courtyard commercial kitchen and air-conditioning in every room. Oh, and the really, really, really fast free internet.

Whatever Hostel life means to you – Netflix on the couch, drinking in the alfresco garden, entertaining with a late arvo BBQ or just a drink and a game of pool. Spinners has you.

Situated on the fringe of Northbridge, you’re where all the locals wish they lived. With all the local cafes, shops, bars and nightclubs just down the street you’ve got the best of both worlds. Close enough to walk– but far enough away so you don’t get that late noise noise and riff-raff. We also have a free cat buss service will pick you up 3min from the front door and take you to any of the Perth City tourist locations.

We are an international backpacker hostel requiring our guests be 18+ years of age and have a foreign passport for identification.

High attention to detail which a lot of other hostels lack. Shelves, dresser and big lockers in the dorms are examples. The female bathrooms were spotless, the cleanest i have ever seen. Give the girls cleaning them a pay rise! The kitchen facilities were great and nice outside space. I am not sure i would recommend if you’re looking for a social hostel as it’s mainly filled with those staying long-term/not backpacking who all know one another and stick together. Not the best location.

I’d seen mixed reviews about this place but as there weren’t so many options in Perth I went for it - it was great! It’s a pretty cozy hostel and I really liked the girls dorm, it was huge and the large lockers doubled up as shelving space which made it feel more private even though there wasn’t curtains. The bed was one of the comfiest ones I had in 3 months of travelling! The only odd thing was that everyone seemed to keep the door to the room open, is this normal? Otherwise it was very secure

When I checked in I was given a full tour of the hostel, and shown to my room- this was really helpful! They took security importantly which was great. Most people are there long-term so the atmosphere wasn’t great if staying for a holiday
