Really great place to stay for the price. I thought central London would be mega expensive but these guys make it affordable. I didn’t expect to get much sleep in the 22 bed dorm but it did the job as I would have been on the streets anyway with the extension rebellion protest. I just can’t camp! Great breakfast included. Would definitely stay again.

Nice bar downstairs. Nice free Breaky. Fast wifi. Nice showers. Staff is very nice. Loved the cleaners they are very lovely greet you and make jokes. They also keep the place very clean so shout out to them. Can’t beat the location next to Waterloo right by Parliament, 10 Downing, the Eye the aquarium. Stayed here probably 10 times now sure I’ll be back for an 11th.

This was my first time ever staying in a hostel, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. I felt so taken care of at The Walrus, so safe, so at home. I stayed in the room with 25 beds, which seems daunting, but actually was wonderful. Every person I met, guest and staff, was incredibly kind. There were great amenities, like towels, linens, a lock, and of course the free breakfast! I would definitely recommend The Walrus for its homey feel and great location.

Very friendly hostel. Our room faced right under a railway line so bring earplugs, but we got used to it. Second floor toilet light never worked and didn't get fixed (though reported) all week. The only washbasin was in there - hot water only (not good for brushing teeth). One of the showers was cold only - others worked fine. Otherwise helpful and friendly; great place for our group to stay, thanks.

Everyone was incredibly nice, very chill environment and great location! We slept in their new bunk beds which were more enclosed so it felt more private which was great. Surprised we didn't have to fight for showers at all!

Kitchen small. Common area is the public bar; not conducive to meeting fellow travelers. A feeling of "grundginess". Next to train lines; noisy. Breakfast was well done.

Nice staff (especially Simone!) and good location along Lower Marsh Market - great street food for lunch and cool coffee shops. The noise, however, is terrible. Train ran right by our room and makes sleeping difficult. Also, the bar/lounge closes at 11:00, so you either have to go out, where there's nothing open for miles, or go to your room, where there's no wifi. People would hang out in the stairwell at night. Overall decent but not great. Would recommend a stay elsewhere.
