By far one of the best locations / hostels that I've been too for the price. Staff was extremely helpful. Would definitely come back.

Perfect! Booked a 6 bed room for all the family. NB private washroom does not include loo!! V spacious kitchen. Bar lovely - live music was good & it had a great feel for early eve drinks too. Only moan was the mass of e mails re check in & trying to scan passports etc.

Cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for. I found it pleasant and the sound of the trains didn't bother me.

Good location and felt safe coming back late. But there’s no lifts and the stairs are quite steep and narrow so if you have big luggages, just prep yourself for a good workout if you’re on the higher floors 😅

    Very Good

The water took a long time in the shower to heat, tiles were falling apart, there was hairs stuck to the walls in the shower. No towels were offered. The hostel was not open much- if at all- so you have to unlock the front door yourself with a code which many people struggled with and it caused confusion. It was not a lively hostel. The bat wasn’t even open at 6 PM. Breakfast could not be found either. I missed a train so I had to take a night train and the hostel wouldn’t change the dates.

If you're looking for relatively affordable accommodation in London, and if you're willing to sacrifice some home comforts, this is your best bet. Not the best hostel ever, especially the facilities which are poor, but a decent clean place with a great location right in the centre of London near some exciting landmarks. Oh, but the location comes at a price - being very close to the train station means you might probably have to consider bringing some earmuffs along to help you sleep.

Bathrooms were gross, room smelt bad, pillow and comforter were dirty with hair on them even though the bed was made (was too tired to go ask for different ones), not all showers worked. And keep in mind the bar is not a hostel bar! It is a bar independent from the hostel. Very close to the London Eye and Big Ben, staff is very friendly, and the security is very very good. No curtains on beds and windows open to regulate temp so bring an eye mask and ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper

Unless you need to spend just one night here, and are trying to save money, I wouldn't recommend this hostel to be honest. There is no reception desk, so everything is done online. They send you codes to enter the building and the room, but if you have questions or queries, they don't reply. The beds are very creaky and the light and noise outside make it very hard to sleep. I wasn't aware that towels were provided - it certainly wasn't clear. Worth spending a bit more money for something better

I was overall pretty dissapointed. The saving grace is the location. We had cold showers all week, the showers were almost never clean, the outlets were a nightmare, the fancy locks were very loud if you're coming in at 12 am trying not to wake everyone, and I could go on. There are much nicer hostels in london you could go to.

This is a very old hostel, which is fine, but the layout and amenities could use some updates. The bathroom situation is not ideal. The beds are very squeaky and the squeaking of breaks from the train immediately across the street make it difficult to sleep.
