Really clean hostel with well thought out bed space and layout. Large locker space, privacy curtains and personal charging ports were a nice touch! Really clean bathrooms and throughout the building. Comfortable beds. Owner really friendly, welcoming us with open arms and really helpful in giving local advice.

Hostel with one of the best vibes. Its nothing fancy but Aaron tries to keep everything in tip top shape. Also the main floor bathrooms have been renovated. Hostel runs free hiking tours once a week or so and has a couple other activities to keep guests engaged. Hostel has a common area on each floor so people may be fragmented, but if you have a group you can claimna floor to yourself lol.

This hostel is great, and the staff went above and beyond for me. I had incorrect information about what time there are buses to Penang, and the male staff was kind enough to call the morning bus to see if they had an open seat for me. If not, I would have been waiting around for another 5 hours for the next bus! My only real complaints are that the room gets hot if someone in shared dorm decides to close the window or porch door at night, and bunk light shines through from lower bunk to upper.

Very happy with this hostel. The staff and facilities were amazing and the location was great. Each bed has a curtain, it’s own light, fan and charging ports which were very handy and a big locker to secure your belongings. Aron went out of his way to help us after my girlfriend damaged her back and both helped her to carry her bags and dropped us at the bus station in his car after she couldn’t carry them (only a five minute walk). Good social areas too!

Really good location, easy to book tours through the hostel and the staff give you good advice on trails. Good food nearby and 5 minutes from the bus station. Good little kitchen and water provided too!

The staff was really nice (owners and volunteers) and keen to helping needed. The facilities are good specially considering that the building is quite old. It would be nice to have clean dry/wet cloths in the kitchen in order to allow guests to use them and clean after themselves. And napkins as well. The dorm and the bed we're both nice. Good size lockers. The hostel was a bit crowded for the limited common space available. I still recommend this hostel 😊

Decent hostel in a good location to trek around the highlands. The only downfalls to this hostel was some of the staff were pretty unhelpful... quite a few were European and didn’t know the area so didn’t have great advice, and we got a lot of contradictory advice from staff about different treks/how safe they were. Also the common areas are in the middle of all the rooms and walls are very thin so we were kept up every night by people in those areas... pretty weird layout if you ask me.

The wifi was SHOCKINGLY bad. The rooms themselves were nice but were so antisocial because of the curtains meaning you never knew if anyone was in the room. A good location with tasty food places close. Didn't really know who was working there and who wasn't, there were lots of different people at the reception every day, some more helpful than others (obvs). Nice hostel tho!

I booked the bed in the hostel for one night. After checking in I told them that I want to stay another night. No problem, the bed is reserved for you, pay any time. When I went to pay in the morning: sorry we already sold your bed to someone else. Also, every single hostel I stayed in SE Asia charges laundry by the Kilo. This hostel charges by 5 kilo. So if you have only few T-shirt’s to wash, you have to pay for 5 kilo of laundry.
